Scott and Stiles went out late at night to go drink up the idea coming from Stiles to help Scott feel better during his break from Allison when some rude teenagers came up to bother them and steal their alcohol which resulted in Scott flashing his werewolf side and scaring the teenagers off. The next morning Scott was laying in bed when his mother Melissa convinced him to go to school through the mention of her awful breakups she had been to. Allison and Athena were getting ready for school, doing their makeup and hair while being waited upon by their father who drives them to school to make sure they don't skip school anymore during that morning it felt like she sent at least a hundred text messages to Derek confused and asking for answers with no response back.

"Father, if you're to insist on driving to school, you have to at least have to let us out of the car." Athena told her father annoyed by the situation. "Kate, what's your opinion on homeschooling?" their father asked his sister. "Well, you know, I'm more of a learning- by- doing kind of girl." Kate told Chris siding with the girls on this one. "What's your opinion on overprotective dads who keep ruining their daughter's lives?" Allison asked her aunt while intended for the argent's father. Kate unlocked the door, letting Athena and Allison out of the vehicle. Allison quickly left, angry and not speaking to her father anymore right now. "Thank you." Athena told her aunt and hurried inside the school.

Allison and Athena and Lydia were discussing the events that happened last night thanking the protection of minors with help of the police so nobody knew who it was which Athena was grateful for. Allison asked for advice from Scott, which only got a negative response from Lydia while Athena stayed out of the situation. In the classroom, the students were taking the test which Scott then stiles ran out on catching the eyes of Athena who was noticing Scott was staring at Allison right before. Scott was having a panic attack and Stiles stopped by convincing him it was an asthma attack. Later that evening Jackson came up to Allison and talked negatively about Scott to Allison, now, you can't tell Allison, and a sentence that confused Jackson when Allison asked if he wanted a bite. Stiles wanted to know if Lydia liked him, forcing Scott to ask, leading to a make-out session between Lydia and the new emotional werewolf boy.

Later that evening after school Kate and Allison were hanging out in Athena's room torturing a stuffed animal tied to a chair. "Right, now you can't tell your father about this, because he'll kill me." Kate told the two teenage girls who were holding the two taser wands Kate let them use. "Okay." Allison tells her aunt. "Okay. well, what's our hapless victim's name?" the green-eyed woman asks her niece. "Mr. Bear." Athena says looking over at her aunt. "You named your teddy bear Mr. Bear? That's, like, the worst teddy bear name in the world." Athena's aunt says joking around with her. "I was five years old." Athena says tryna justify her young mind's action. "All right, well, just shoot your unimaginatively named bear and put it out of its misery." Kate says wanting to see the girl's skills. "Oh ha ha ha!" Allison then breaks down over the pain of the recent event between Allison and Scott, unnoticed by Kate at first. "See, now that's what I'm talkin' about. See, if you would have had the other night, you would have just- whoa, wait a minute. I thought you wanted to learn how to do this, sweetie." Athena holding and comforting Allison made Kate stop in her tracks, realizing the situation. "I just don't know what happened." Allison says, starting to cry. "With Scott? aw . listen, my gorgeous, young niece, you're gonna break hearts left and right, okay? And he was lucky to have gotten the tiny, little taste of Allison Argent's world that he got." Kate tells her sad niece trying to cheer her up. "But it just- felt so right with him. And then he just started acting so strange, and now I don't know what to believe." Allison says to her aunt and sister. "Well, sweetie, he's a guy. You can't believe anything." the green-eyed girl says knowing her failed past relationships. "It's probably just the whole thing with Derek Hale the other night- Scott said he didn't know them but I've seen them two together." Athena tells her aunt trying to get her to better understand the situation. "Whoa, hold on. Wait, back up. Scott know Derek? Alleged killer Derek? Are they friends?" Kate asks directly, meant for Allison to answer since she knew Scott way better. "No, not really. I mean, at least that's what he said." Allison says not want her sister to reveal that part. "How about you tell me everything that Scott said about Derek." Kate argent asks in a telling kind of tone. "What do you mean by everything?" Allison asks her aunt in a confused tone. "I mean everything."

Later on that day, Athena goes shopping for archery material for one of her old sports she used to be good at. While Athena was looking around she ran into Jackson whittemore. "What are you doing here?" the Whittmore boy asks the argent girl. "Oh, I was thinking I might get back into something I haven't done for a while. What about you?" the wavy brown girl asks. "Oh, uh, for Danny. McCall bashed him pretty hard on the field. Why do I get the feeling you could use someone to talk to? Jackson asked, seeing the bags under Athena's eyes that the faded concealer used to cover. "Is it that obvious?" The argent girl hoped not wanting to hide the fact she was not as strong as she acts. "Maybe 'cause I'm kinda feeling the same way." the teenage boy says to Athena. "If I tell you something, will you promise not to laugh?" Athena asks, putting her hope in the lacrosse captain. "I would never laugh at you" "I don't think it was Derek in the school, we had a thing for a while that nobody knew about and I just find it hard to believe it was him, but now he won't answer any of my texts and I just keep overthinking every situation." Athena rants to the Whittemore boy, who faces drops after the mention of Athena and Derek being together. "Neither do I." agreed upon by Jackson. "Is there something else? Look, Athena, just because you can't trust Scott, doesn't mean you can't trust anybody." "But that's the thing. There are people lying to me, people closer to me than Derek." "who?" the Whittemore boy asks, intrigued. "My father. And it's- it's not like I don't realize we're not exactly the most normal family on the block. I mean, not every teenage girl comes home to a garage full of Glocks and AK- 47s." Athena tells Jackson stuttering and ranting. "But, um-?" Jackson says, not fully knowing how to give a good response. "I just have this weird feeling, like, my dad knows more about what happened in the school than we do." Athena and Jackson talked some more about how the person in the school gave off nonhumans and walked on all 4s. While Scott was chatting with Derek hoping to find a cure for his new werewolf side, he was told by Derek there was a chance that the cure was to kill the one that bit him.
