One day Feferi Peixes was swimming in the ocean, admiring her tail. It was long and pink and shiny all over. She heard all the splashing of people swimming and running in the water, she loved hearing it cause she loved that everyone was all happy. She wished she could talk with them but she was always taught that human's were bad and didn't deserve to be alive. Her mother told her that, her sister well.... Didn't really care.
As she was swimming she saw someone looking at her. She tried to swim away but the person stopped her. "wait!" the person called to her. She surfaced and looked the person. Upon closer look she could tell the person was a male man. "who are you?" he asked her. "Um.... I'm Feferi." she said, smiling at him. "whats your name?" she asked him. "Eridan." he said, looking down at her tail. "i haven't ever seen a mermaid. Especially this close before." he said. He wanted to feel her tail but he thought that would be disrespectful to her. "wanna feel? I mean my tail." she asked, lifting her tail so he could feel it. Without hesitation he felt her tail, it felt really nice and smooth. "it has a nice feel to it." he said, smiling at her. "i love it." she said, smiling at him. "so are you from around here? Or just visiting?" she asked him. "i live up there in that nice white house with my big brothet Cronus. See up there?" he said, pointing to a big white house up on a hill. "its really pretty. I wish i could be there up on land. Being a mermaid is hard." she said, looking at him. "im guessing you li...." he began to say beofre he heard someone calling Feferi's name. It was her sister meenah. "Feferi! Come on! Mom wants us to come back now!" meenah called out to Feferi. "i have to go now, im sorry Eridan. It was nice meeting you." she said, swimming away. Eridan went home that day with a huge smile on his face. He was so happy.
