Feferi was finally let out of her room, but so she could be given her punishment. She was brought before her mother. Feferi was crying, she didn't want this. "Feferi Peixes, you have disobeyed the only rule mermaids have, you have talked with a human. For that you are being turned into a human and having your tail taken away." Her mother said, she nodded to someone and Feferi was held down. She was screaming and crying to be let go. She felt a sharp pain in her tail, she screamed and looked down, the end of her tail had been sliced off and her tail was now being split open. "Stop! Please! Please let me go!" Feferi yelled, the pain was getting worse by the second. Finally it ended, there was blood everywhere. "Feferi, your going to be send up now, have fun finding a home." Her mother said. Feferi was sent up with only a ripped sail to cover herself.
Cronus had convinced Eridan to go down to the beach that same day. As Eridan was walking along the beach he saw a female on the beach, crying. He ran up to her. "are you oka.... Feferi? Is that you?" he asked, looking at her face. Feferi looked up and flung herself into Eridans arms. She was crying really hard, her legs were covered in scars. "im so sorry, i didn't mean to leave you." she said, sobbing into his shoulder. He hugged her really tight. "its my fault, i shouldn't have gotten you in trouble. Please don't cry." he said. She kept crying so he did the first thing that would hopefully make her stop crying, he lifted her chin and kissed her. She widened her eyes, suprised by the kiss, but she began to kiss back. He pulled away after a moment. She had stopped crying. "Come live with me Feferi, please. You will be safe with me." he said, standing and tried pulling her up. "i would but i don't know how i would get there, i don't know how to walk." she said, standing but she was hanging onto eridan for dear life. "just follow my steps. Lift your foot and put it infront if you." he said, she did but it looked like she was having a hard time. Eridan picked her up bridal style and carried her home. "Cronus shouldn't be home, we should be able to get you back upstairs without him finding you." he said as they approached the home.
