Eridan came back the next day hoping to see Feferi there. As she approched him she saw his legs hanging off the dock. She saw the opportunity to scare him. She swam by really fast and grabbed his legs. He yelped and pulled his legs up. "hi eridan! Scared you, didn't I?" she giggled. "scared? Me? No." he said, smiling at her. "whatever you say eridan." she said, smiling at him. "hey fef, can i ask you something?" he asked her. "sure! Ask away!" she said. "have you ever seen a sunset?" he asked her. It was a stupid question but he wanted to know. "whats a sunset?" she asked. "you need to see it sometime. It normally sets around 6. Can you be here by then?" he asked her. "if you will be here then yes!" she said, smiling really excited. She loved hanging out with him. Even if it was just for a little bit. Today it was just a little bit. She saw her sister swimming around calling Feferi's name. "im sorry Eridan, i have to go. I willl see you at 6." she said, smiling at him, swimming away. "fef, wait!" he yelled to her, she couldn't hear him though. She was already to far away. He just kinda sat there, waiting for 6 to roll around. As soon as that time rolled around Feferi was there with eridan. "so when will the sun set?" she asked eridan, smiling. He looked out at the sun. "Feferi, its setting right now." he said. She looked out at the sun, smiling at it. Her eyes were wide with excitement and joy. Her whole body was glowing with orange and pink and red. Eridan thought she looked beautiful. "you um.... You look really beautiful Feferi." he said, smiling at her. She blushed and giggled. "thank you eridan. You look really nice too." she said. "Feferi Peixes! Come home now!" said a voice eridan hadn't heard before. It was Feferis mother. "i have to go, im sorry eridan." she said, diving underwater and swimming away. "Feferi, wait! I have to...." he watched her swim away, the light reflecting off her body. "how i feel." he said, sighing and watching the sun set. He went home frowning. He probably wasn't gonna go back tomorrow.
