Feferis mother had known Feferi had been seeing a human, since that was aginst the rules Feferi was locked in her room. She begged the guards infront of her room to let her out, she had to go see eridan and tell him how she felt. "please let me out! I need to go see him!" she yelled. She yelled this till her voice cracked and tears were streaming down her face. Eridan didn't go to the beach that day, he felt bad for getting Feferi in trouble. He just sat in his room, looking at the beach. His brother Cronus checked in him every few hours but eridan said nothing. He wouldn't eat, he wouldn't talk, he wouldn't even look at Cronus. He just sat there looking at the ocean, thinking of how he let Feferi down.
