"Your car or mine?" Lily asked blankly, "There is no 'my car', I came here on foot, couldn't get my lazy ass to drive after my nap" Ivy replies with soft chuckle at the fresh memory of her whining at herself.

"Typical Ivy Walker" Lily said to no one in particular with a small smile on her face.

The ride to the pub was long and quiet. Both of them wouldn't talk. After more minutes of silence Ivy decided to turn on the radio. Some random tune came on, both of them started to slowly hum to it, which was sure to gradually turn into a karaoke session in the car, and I was right.

After many more minutes of just listening to the radio, the girls reached the bar. "Well don't be shy, come on I'm desperate for a drink" Ivy started to whine at Lily who standing at front of the bar hesitantly.

"Yeah lets go" Lily said sighing.

They  both sat down and ordered their drinks. I'm pretty sure the old married couple sitting across them thought they were couples, if I was them I would've thought the same thing too..

"So now would you tell me whats going on?" ivy asked , she was getting more and more concerned about her friend as the minutes went by in silence.

"I don't know how to say this without seeming jealous or something" Lily said softly enough for only ivy to hear.

"So what if you seem jealous? Its an emotion, you will feel it. You have to feel it to be human. What matters is what made you feel jealous. And when did you start to hesitate telling me things? We've literally known each other as long as I can remember. So go ahead and tell me whats making you so troubled, it has something to do with James, doesn't it?"

To say Lily wasn't shocked by how Ivy knew she was gonna talk about James, would be a lie. But Lily didnt feel like questioning how ivy knew that , as she said their relationship went way back.

"I......,I think" Lily was drifting of now

"Oh come on, spit it out" Ivy said while taking a sip of her drink and swallowing it.

"I...., I think James is sleeping with someone else".........
