I mean, that is what they are. Children  and that's just life. And luz once told gus, 'you should make your enemies into your friends it's apart of life, you can't keep enemies forever ya know?'

"Hey Matt?" Gus spoke softly after which startled Matt as it had been a long time with comfortable silents until now.

"Yea?" Matt spoke in a whisper

"Are we enemies?" Gus spoke not looking at Matt

"I'm not sure" Matt said quietly

"Are we friends?"

Matt stayed quiet for a moment "Maybe? I can't tell"

"Are we lovers?"

"Definitely not"

"Strangers?"

"Nope"

"Then what are we?" Gus spoke in a sad tone

Matt stood up and walked infront of gus standing above his as he was sitting on the ground, Matt bent down a little smiled and held out his hand "Friends?"

Gus was quiet for a moment but then he shook matts hand "Friends."
