You walk into the kitchen at night, not bothering to see if anyone's there, you know there isn't. Yet you can't help but fear the dark shadows of the room. The sounds that don't come from you, you know you're alone, but it feels like you're not. You make your way to the bathroom, quietly as if someone was there, no one is. You feel like someone is behind you, it's just the vacuum, you heart a sound, it's just the tv, you make it to the bathroom alone. You walk out once you finish, you think you see someone watching you, it's just the fan.
The dark is scary, it's like someone is always there, watching, sneaking, scaring. It worries people, you remind yourself this nothing, but that just makes it worse.
