Avery's P.O.V

The sound of my alarm made me dread waking up. "Today is the day." I said to myself, I got up and got dressed.
"Avery!" My mom screamed from downstairs.
"I'm already up mom." I groaned as I walked to my bathroom. I did my hair and make up. "I've decided that I will not talk to people in school unless I can trust them. If I don't speak maybe they won't bully me as much." I said to myself.
"Mom I'm skating to school today!" I screamed grabbing my skateboard. "I hope I'm not the only girl that skates." I said to myself as I skated to school. I got to school and right at that moment it felt like all eyes were on me. But it only lasted for a second. I headed to the office to get my schedule. I avoided most of the people and they didn't notice me so I felt no need to avoid people if they weren't going to notice me anyway. This thought was drained from my mind once it happened. I opened my eyes and realize I was on the ground. "Someone tripped me.." I thought to myself.
"Oops,sorry didn't see you there." A tall blonde girl said as she smirked at me.
I nodded,getting up and walking into the office not caring if she was just being rude or actually trying to say sorry.
I walked in the office and walked to the desk. "Um..e-excuse me I'm new here and I need my schedule...My name is Avery Collins." I said with my voice sounding more frail then I wanted it to sound. The lady looked up at me. "Ok,here you go my dear. And here's your locker number too." She handed me the papers and smiled.
"T-thank you" I said walking to my locker. Once I got to my locker I opened it put my borad in my locker and putting my lock on the locker. I started to search for my for my first class English. I started to wonder around the school.I walked down a hall and bumped into someone, I closed my eyes and prepared myself for impact. But, I felt something other then the hard floor. It was someone's strong arm wrapped around my waist.
"Hey,are you okay?" I heard a husky voice say.
I opened my eyes to see a tall guy with piercing green eyes, snakebites(2 lower lip piercings) and dark black hair. His muscular arm unwrapped from my thin frame.This is what happens when I let my guard down ...
