Faylinn smiled weakly at her husband who laid in their bed, sleeping. Yesterday, Eldrin had been gravely injured in an Orotaka attack and he was recovering from his wounds and the poison.
After Faylinn had taken her morning bath, she started getting dressed.
She put on a black leather adventure suit with dark blue skirt with slit and thin silk dark blue sleeves and a pair of black boots.
She had promised Elvia that they would take a ride today and Elanor had promised to look after Pharom.
She brushed her long golden blonde hair and put it up in a braid.
She was awakened from her thoughts by Eldrin who let out a painful groan.
She slowly went over to him and put a gentle hand on his shoulder, "Eldrin? My love?," "Aurora...,"Eldrin whispered weakly. "Shh, I'm here,"Faylinn whispered.
Eldrin opened his blue eyes slowly and looked up weakly at his wife and Faylinn knelt by his side of the bed.
Eldrin weakly put his hand on her cheek and Faylinn put her hand on his. "I'm here, I won't leave," And Eldrin groaned in pain, "It hurts," And Faylinn sighed, "Iston, meleth nín, Iston," (I know, my love, I know) "You're leaving,"Eldrin said worriedly. And Faylinn smiled, "It's only for some hour. I promised Elvia we would take a ride. The healers told me I should give you this when you woke up," And she held a drop of the medicine the healers had given her into a glass of water and helped her husband drink, "It's for the poison,"She explained gently.
Eldrin sighed when Faylinn put away his glass. "Faylinn, I want to come with you!," And he started getting out of bed.
"No! You're not going anywhere!,"Faylinn protested as she pushed him back on the pillow, "The healers said you should stay in bed for the next three days. Your father said he was going to give you your breakfast," And Eldrin sighed and groaned, "I'm not 10 (1) years old! I don't need to be fed like an Elfling!," And Faylinn smiled, "Well, that's the healers orders. You simply have to accept it," And Eldrin sighed as groaned angrily. And Faylinn laughed a little teasingly. After the ride, Faylinn looked among the things The North elves had found in her Orphanage many years ago when she noticed an old map. She decided to save it for later.
Two days later, Eldrin was finally recovered enough to get out of bed to attend the meeting about Keegan.
"I found this. It's the folder the Orphanage kept all their things about me," Faylinn explained as she opened the folder.
"It seems like you were close ones,"Aranel explained as he put his finger on the sentence that Keegan was named her god father. And Faylinn noticed the old paper that had been folded like a card.
She grabbed it and opened it. "Very close,"She sighed. "Thanks for being the father I never had, Love, Faylinn,"She read. "I wrote that to him,"Faylinn said slowly. "You really were close ones,"Eldrin said. "But he still erased my memories,"Faylinn sighed and she opened another letter thatc Ellette seemed to have written. 'Keegan finds newborn baby on The Orphanage Dahlia's doorstep' It said.
"This wizard seems to have been fallowing me for a long time. Since I landed in Shivanna. It's strange. He has a bunch of my old paintings and stories. You don't keep stuff like this unless you care about someone,"Faylinn explained, "But why? There has to be a clue to why," And Eldrin grabbed the old scroll, "You can read this stuff?," And Faylinn rolled up the scroll and looked at the ancient scripture. "This isn't from our religion. What in Solania was he doing with me?,"A while later, the great hall was filled with people of Shivanna who had been called for meetings.
"Sister, I found this in the library,"Aidan said as he placed a book on the table and opened it. "This is about his family. That's his wife and that's his daughter,"Aidan explained and pointed at the painted pictures in the book. "By Solania, meleth nín!,"Eldrin said, "His daughter looks just like you. Maybe that was why he was so obsessed with you," And Faylinn looked at him confused, "He was looking for someone with Light Magic. There must be more than just me," And Aidan rolled up scroll and looked at it. "He wasn't looking for someone with Light Magic. He was looking for The God of Light, Daughter Of Erline," "What?," Faylinn asked confused. "The name of The Daughter Of Light... is Aurora,"Aidan explained. He knew?," Faylinn asked confused. And Aidan sighed, "Before you even knew he knew you were powerful,"He explained, "And The Daughter Of Light shall become Keegan's Daughter," "What in Solania does that mean?," Faylinn asked confused. "I think Keegan believes in this prophecy,"Aidan explained, "His old family is gone. His wife is gone, his daughter is dead. I think he's looking to replace his daughter... with you," And Eldrin swallowed and looked up at his wife, "But that means he's going to come... for you," And Faylinn swallowed, "And I guess that will be sooner than we know,"
