Noah's POV:

2 minutes left before class starts and still no sign of 'mystery girl'. Not gonna lie but she kinda looked like the nerds and I know for a fact that nerds rarely skip school.

As if on cue, she walks into the class wearing a grey hoodie and black sweatpants. Talk about being comfy. She ignores all the stares she is getting which probably means that this is normal. Right.

She walks up the aisle and sits beside me. I don't know why she hides her face with that face mask and hoodie of hers. From what I can tell, she is beautiful.

I can't help but notice how her hands were shaking as if she was cold while she took out the books from the bag.

Is she cold?

Can't be, it's not that cold outside.

Maybe she has a fever?

Could be but she could have called in sick?

I argue with myself until I hear someone call my name and I snap my head to look at the owner of the voice.

"Mr. Anderson, will you please take your eyes off of Miss Nymp- Snow and look at the board?" Mr. Winter snaps at me, his blue eyes looking icier than the ice itself.

"Sorry, sir," I reply quietly before turning to face my book which has been lying on my table lifelessly for the past 10 minutes.

Mr. Winter starts with the lecture but I can't help but steal a glance at her every now and then. She has a beautiful name- I mean her last name. Her name is definitely a rare one. I wonder how beautiful she is without a mask.

I can't help but feel like something is wrong with her. I don't know but it just feels like that. Something is seriously wrong. Or maybe I am overthinking.

Or am I?

The class goes by in a blur and as the bell rings, everyone starts making their way out of the class.

I look to my right to see that the 'mysterious girl aka Ms. 'Nymph-something(?)' Snow' hasn't even moved. Even her books are on the table.

"Are you okay?" I ask her as the last student is getting up to leave, staring at me, then at her. I give him the look that says 'She is mine', as I glare at him and he immediately takes his eyes off her, scurrying out of the class.

She doesn't reply. I walk over to her and sit on the edge of her desk, worry filling me in. I gently place a hand on her shoulder to which she instantly flinches and I pull away, immediately regretting my decision.

"I'm sorry ..... I ...... uhhh I shouldn't have done it .... Are you okay?" I ask.

My worry grows with each passing second. After what feels like an eternity, she nods and stands up. She winces and her legs wobble which causes her to stumble over her feet and she falls to the ground but before she could reach the ground, I snake my arm around her waist to steady her. I am about to set her on her seat but she faints causing me to panic.

Damnit.

I immediately pick her bridal style up and rush out of the classroom, not before grabbing her stuff, towards the nurse's office.

Even though it is my second day at Rockville high, I am pretty proud of myself for knowing the way around. I dodge through the sea of students and reach the nurse's station in less than 2 minutes. I gently put her down on the patient bed while Nurse Amanda, as written on her name tag, rushes in and shoos me out before checking up on her.

###

I feel helpless. I don't exactly know the reason but the worry scares me. I don't have a good feeling about this one.
