Nymphadora's POV:

"Boyfriend?" Noah asks just as I hang up.

"What? No!" I splutter out.

"Oh," he says, nodding his head, deep in thought.

"Don't worry, Nymphadora, I'll change that soon," Xavier says from behind with a wink I catch in the rearview mirror. I really don't know if he is joking or not.

"Don't worry, Nymphadora, he is joking," Noah says, as he gives the guy a stern look from the mirror, and Xavier slumps in his seat with Ashley,

"Oh!" I let out a forced chuckle before the tension and awkwardness seeped into the vehicle. "And no, Xavier, you can not change that," I say and the said person pouts before engaging Ashley in a conversation about her favorite cartoons.

We head towards the arcade as planned when we reach the mall. Ashley stays close by my side. I can tell she is feeling a bit uncomfortable, but nothing more than I am. The arcade is dimly lit but the lights from the arcade machines are enough for us to look around and see where we are heading.

"I need to be at work at 4," I say to Noah, tugging at his sleeve slightly. "Don't worry, sunshine, I'll drop you off on time." He says offering me a million-dollar smile. It's only then that I notice the dimples that form on his face when he smiles, and his smile becomes my new favorite thing to look at.

"So that means we have only 4 hours to have with you?" George asks, looking directly at me with a smile on his face. His icy blue orbs creep me out as he stares me down. His eyes look like they are looking into my soul and that is not okay, and his smile gets creepier the more I look at it.

"Well... Yeah..." I stutter out, mainly because of his intense stare. This guy creeps me out...

"As long as it makes you feel better," he winks at me before walking towards one of the arcade machines. His wink was nothing like Xavier's. I find myself comparing Xavier's wink and George's wink and suddenly realize that where Xavier's wink was warm and affectionate, George's wink was just creepy and weird and it gave me the shivers.

"Come on, let's go," Noah says and I turn to look at him, standing with Alexander.

"Stay close, Ash," I whisper to her, and she nods at me, as if she knows what I am thinking, knows what I am feeling.

We spend hours playing until Ashley complains that she is hungry, along with Xavier, and we head towards the food court. I don't really feel hungry and I definitely don't want to eat in front of 4 men, so I tell Noah I am not hungry when he asks for my order.

It's 3"30 when everyone is done eating and I have said goodbye to Mia via text.

"Noah?" I call him and he looks at me as he takes a swig of his drink. My eyes fall to his lips as he lowers the can and I can't help but imagine what they would feel like against my skin, against my lips. They look soft and plump and a natural pink and- WHAT THE HELL?

I snap out of my thoughts as my cheeks flush. I look back at my phone to hide my embarrassment and see Noah raise an eyebrow from the corner of my eye.

"I need to get going," I say after a failed attempt to clear my throat.

"It's still 3:30...?" He looks at me and his eyebrows furrow.

"Punctuality," I state. "Oh, right. Okay, let's go," he says. getting up from his seat.

"I can go myself, you don't have-" He cuts me off, "No."

Well, okay...

10 minutes later, we are in the car. The rest of the guys decided to go God knows where. The ride is silent but the silence is comfortable. I rest my head on the headrest and close my eyes as random thoughts begin to swirl in my head. I don't want to be this close to someone like Noah, someone who makes me happy because people who make you happy are the ones who make you sad the most. I need to distance myself from him. Maybe, I am overthinking or whatever, but I can't let anyone hurt me more than I already am.
