"You don't have to worry anymore." An old man came out from kazuha's room and told the head of the family about the news.

Azu who was in the sideline, was sweating buckets. After he found out that kazuha wasn't breathing anymore he went straight to his uncle to inform him.

"What was the reason why my son almost lost his life?" The head of the family could hear his heart beating through his ear. It was so loud that even the physician could hear it.

"While I was inspecting his body earlier. I found a strange liquid roaming around his body, It first it targeted his stomach, then lungs, before the heart." Azu frowned when he heard that it was a strange liquid that almost killed kazuha. It was likely that the strange liquid was the drug that uncle keep injecting to his cousin.

"And I find out what liquid was it. It's Succinylcholine, Although the drug won't last long—only for a couple of hours. This one is a special case, It actually last 24 hours. But because of it, There had been side effects, One of the side effects is death." The head was completely silent. Azu almost snorted but he keep himself from doing it.

"However, Death won't necessarily come if you inject it. But if you had been injecting it to the young master, death will surely come to him, just like now. Normally it will trigger if you inject it for seven days straight. So I'm guessing, you have been injecting it to the young master, right?"

Papa narrowed his eyes, He knew about the drug being dangerous but he never knew it could bring death to his son.

He almost killed his son.

"However, If the second young master haven't inform you, A couple more hours the first young master would surely be a cold corpse by now." Azu sighed. If he won't inform his uncle the bastards lover would surely come to him. He almost got killed when he told him about what the keadehara clan have done to kazuha.

"Well then, I should get going now. Remember Kaedehara - San, Do not inject the young master with anymore drugs. He was lucky that he got save this time, But next time I'm afraid he won't be so lucky." The old man left those words before exiting the Estate of the Kaedehara Clan.

Papa was silent throughout the conversation. He was thinking of what sin he had done, He almost killed his son because of his obsession of not letting him meet his lover. He sighed and went to kazuha's room.

Azu stared at his uncle's back with great interest. He was sure that his uncle knew about the side effects but he still let kazuha take it everyday? Was his uncle's objective really to keep the rōnin away from his lover? Or was it to kill him?

"Hmmm~ Interesting." Azu started walking away, leaving the empty hall.

Papa gently push the door and entered kazuha's room. There he saw his son sleeping peacefully, His chest was going up and down now, unlike earlier he was still as a statue.

He walk towards kazuha's side before cupping his son's cheek. The rōnin was beautiful, he have the feature of his mother.

"I'm sorry, kazuha." He mumbled and exited the rōnin's room.
