By Your Side - Tomo x Kazuha [Complete]

After a week of sickness and staying at the small house. Kazuha's cold finally decided to leave his body. In those few days, The dou's relationship grew stronger day by day at the point that they could be mistaken as a married couple. Which also confused kazuha. He and tomo just met but they act intimately towards eachother.

Kazuha stared at his newly washed clothes feeling a bit nostalgic. He blinked before taking off his current clothes.

Walking out of the house, Kazuha stared at tomo who was playing with yuki. He's heart beating. In the past few days. He didn't feel anything because of the fever and constant nightmares. And tomo almost took care all of them, Tomo would even wake up at the middle of the night just to wipe his body. He was indebt to this man.

Noticing kazuha's presence Tomo Looked up to see kazuha with his newly washed clothes. There was a hint of red on his cheeks, Clearly the young rōnin was feeling a bit flustered. However Tomo didn't mind it and instead stood up while holding yuki.

"Ready to go?" Tomo exclaimed. Kazuha peered at tomo before nodding, a soft smile was plastered on his face.

"Yes." Walking towards the main road. Kazuha can't help but look at tomo.

"Are we going in our separate ways?" He asked which made tomo stop walking. The older one stared at the younger male, and kazuha stared right back at him.

"No." Tomo answered before walking pass kazuha. Kazuha just stayed in place when a pair of strong arms wrap around his waist making him jolt.

"I'm not leaving you. After what you have done to me, I am determined to stay by your side until you grow tired of me." Tomo stated calmly while hugging kazuha. Yuki who was on the ground stared at both of the humans.

"I cannot break free from the shackles you placed on me." As kazuha listened to tomo's words, his heart accelerate every passing second. Making kazuha face him, tomo smiled lovingly towards the young rōnin.

"Kaedehara Kazuha. I think I might have fallen for you." A strong gust of wind blew pass them as kazuha's eyes widen in disbelief. He's heart was beating like crazy, It felt like he was participating in a marathon. He's pale face started to reden when tomo's words sank into his mind.

"I-i...." He opened his mouth but found out that he doesn't have the words to say. He was a bit puzzled on what was going on. Was this a love confession? What should he say? Kazuha never experienced the feeling of someone confessing to him.

"You don't have to answer me right now. I only say that to make my motives clear which is! I'm staying with you!" Tomo said happily while breaking the hug. Grabbing kazuha's hand, tomo dragged kazuha back to the main road. While the said rōnin was still puzzled on what to do.

"Back at the city! Phew, The recent events might be too much for yuki." Tomo stated while looking at yuki worriedly. Kazuha stared at the cat before staring at the older male.

"I will first buy our daily needs so can you wait here with yuki?" Kazuha opened his mouth and told tomo about his plan. Tomo looked sideways then nodded. When kazuha was about to walk away tomo grabbed his hand making him face the older male. He felt a soft lips on his forehead as tomo kissed him. A blush immediately spread out from his cheeks to his ears. 

"Be careful." Tomo whispered in kazuha's ear. Without looking back Kazuha went straight to the market feeling flustered.

Kazuha placed his hand on his chest as he breathe heavily. He wasn't over from tomo's confession earlier, the older male's words was still ringing on his head.

Suddenly a clap was heard not too far from kazuha making him raise his head, but pretty much regretted it afterwards. A man is currently infront of him while clapping and staring at kazuha mockingly. Kazuha's flushed face change dramatically when he saw who it was.

"Azu..." Kazuha whispered coldly.

"Why so cold dear cousin?" The man named azu, said mockingly at kazuha while eyeing him from head to toe. He frowned at the clothes that kazuha was currently wearing.

"Mapple leaves." He said disgustingly.

"What do you want azu?" Kazuha asked calmly while staring at azu. Azu snickered before opening his mouth.

"Nothing. Just wondering if there was a walking garbage in the city, and it seems like I was right. Right failure?" Azu said mockingly while gazing at kazuha intently. Kazuha frowned at the word garbage and failure, but he never swayed from the insult that his cousin was rubbing to him.

"If there is nothing else I will go now." Kazuha stated and was about to walk away when he heard he's cousin mentioned tomo.

"That man. What relationship do you have with him?" Azu said while staring at the distant tomo who was playing with yuki.

"Is he your lover?" Azu mocked as he shift his gaze at kazuha. Without much of a thought kazuha answered.

"Yes indeed." He announced calmly. Azu stared at kazuha seemingly 'shock'. He shooked his head in disappointment when azu heard his cousin's words.

"Uncle is already disappointed on you, you're gonna disappoint him even more." Azu express his 'concern' when infact he was delighted. He hated kazuha ever since they were small so he was extremely delighted when he heard that kazuha was no longer part of the family.

"I'm pretty sure auntie is even more disappointed on you. Giving birth to such ungrateful son. I pity her." Those words rang through kazuha's brain as his foot stopped from walking. Something in him seem to have snapped.

"If I were her, I wouldn't have given birth to such an ungrateful son-" Before azu could finish his words a fist landed on his cheek making him stumble to the ground.

"What the actual fuck-"

"What did mom regret?" Kazuha stared at azu dangerously. He lost it. Azu have gone overboard this time. He was ready to draw his blade any moment and stabbed his so called cousin a thousand times.

"What do you know about mom. Huh? Adopted boy?" Kazuha shot back at azu. He's tone was extremely mocking.
