Chapter 3 - Gemini

Seems Ancient City has caught the attention of the Elemetals and that's not good. Denny, be a darling and pack a suitcase or 2, it's time to get you enrolled in school....

"You've got to be kidding me, you must be crazy* flew through my mind, but of course I didn't  say it out loud (last thing I need is to be thrown across the room (again)". Seems I'm about to be a city boy and the new school semesters just started to. Chances are they're sending me to Central High where that Aquarius kid attends. I swear they better not try to make me befriend him. The last thing I need is to be someone's babysitter, especially someone in my age group. I guess I'll just go with the flow and see what happens.

It's 3pm and I had just finished packing my bags when there was a knock on the door. 

"Hey Dennyboi, word around is that you're being sent on Guardian Duty. Try not to get him killed"

With a ginger smile on my face i replied "Hello Leon, surprised they let you out of your cage. Why are your here, kitty wants a treat or you simply came to say how much you'll miss me?"

He replied "Tempting as it sounds, I'd rather dance with a fire elemental. At least it'll be able to handle my heat. I'm simply here to see you off."

(How charming) I thought to myself as I grabbed my bags. As he turned around to walk outside, using my magic I picked him up with a mini tornado and threw him my way?

"Lil kitty grew some claws, but you're only playing tough because you recently got a new mastery rank." My mischievous side started to take control as I became more and more dominant. The vain prideful lion has no more to roar about as this Gemini decided it's time to take control. When it comes to a Gemini, you never know what to expect, sometimes acting on impulse, emotions or simply because we want to. 

"Just like old times" I said before I gazed into his hazel eyes and kissed him .....

The next day.....

"So this is Ancient City, I expected bigger, badder and shinier" I said to myself as the plane landed. I was accompanied by a few Sentinels charged with my protection (though i outranked most of them in elemental mastery) and a few caretakers. The closes thing to family since I lost both parents when I was younger and got adopted by The Sanctuary. From I was 8, I was raised and trained in the elemental arts and spiritual history of Yuan and Juan and the Zodiac signs. Was pretty in phased by it in the most part, but I got it done.

As I gathered my thoughts, I sensed a powerful magical pressure. "There's an Elemental near by"  I said and without hesitation, I used my wind magic to launch me into the air. In the distance I saw it, an Earth Elemental was chasing some girl in tight leggings. I flew over as fast as I can bringing with me a powerful wind tunnel. As he was about to crush her, I knocked him back shattering his stone armor and sending him flying. As a large rock was hurled at us, a strange force field surrounded us protecting us from impact. As the dust cleared, I made my move to get out of there and the Elemental escaped (I was really looking forward to a good fight to the death. I rarely get the chance to go crazy in the field).

"Either the elementals are getting reckless and stupid or there's someone pulling their strings causing them to attack people in the open"  I thought to myself, but there's something else....

"That girl had an artifact that protected her, yet she had no clue what was going on. Her power is dormant, so she shouldn't even be a target until it flares up making her a Zodia. Who was she and why was she targeted? Might be an interesting school year after all...."
