The thoughts of weakness

It was midnight and I had to sleep, unfortunately. My butler combed my brown hair, I stared in the mirror right in front of me my blue eyes stared into the depths of the mirror. Since I made a contract with my demon butler I couldn't get one smile on my face no matter how hard I tried I forgot how to laugh. Nothing was funny anymore and it was all thanks to him. "tch" when I said this Sebastian looked up at me with his bright red eyes "What is wrong young mistress?" I stared right back at him "literally nothing, Sebastian". With a smirk he stopped combing my hair "you know you can tell me everything, right?" I knew that but I don't saw the point in it, By the way showing emotions was for weak people. Not for me.  He grabbed my left wrist and pulled the bracelet that he had wrapped around it off. I saw the seal I hated so much, it showed me how weak I was because i had to take revenge with this demon by my side and would die afterwards. Not that I was scared of the death. He picked me up Bridal style and carried me to the bed. He gently laid me down and wrapped the blankets around me, he softly stroked his fingers against my cheek and said "good night, keep yourself in control this time young mistress" I knew he talked about all the nightmares I had since my parents died and I came back to this mansion, every single night I saw them dying again and again right in front of me. Every single night I would wake up with sweat on my face and Sebastian standing next to me because he heard me scream. "Go, Sebastian now." I turned around in my bed and closed my eyes I knew Sebastian bowed and walked away because he did it every single time, I heard the door close behind him and I lay awake for a few minutes before falling asleep.
