Sebastians' vow

After my meeting with the queen, I walk downstairs. Suddenly I'm being pushed against a wall, I look up and see the eyes of the one and only, prince Chi Hotaru. He smirks and I turn my head to the left, I'm sick of his face. "What exactly do you think your doing, Hotaru" I say with a slightly provoked tone in my voice. "Oh, I'm just checking if we're never gonna be together, I mean you just don't want to say that you're in love with me Aiko Shizukana." "I'm already taken, by your little brother." At that moment he grabs a hold of my chin and turns my head to kiss me. Everything in me screams 'go away!', but he has pushed me in the corner so there's nowhere to go. "Could you please leave my young mistress alone, prince Hotaru." A white gloved hand appears in front of my lips to cover them. I turn my face around to see Sebastian standing there, he throws an angry look at the Hotaru. Chi looks in disgust at him as his moment is ruined. "Should you as a butler touch her on her lips?" "And should you touch the fiance of your brother?" Chi walks away with an angry look on his face. "Thank you, Sebastian." I say, he bows and walks behind me as I go to Erai to close the party and say the guests goodbye.

As I undress the young mistress to put her in the bathtub, she looks tired. I unwrap the bracelet around her wrist, her face wringes in pain. After 3 years of being her demon butler she still carries a lot of pain from the seal. I gently help her to get in the bathtub when she sits and lays back I begin to give her an massage. Her soft skin keeps surprising me just like her way of being an human. She is full of miracles everytime she does something, she does it with all she is capable of in her tiny body. I've never seen someone more devoted to things they do. Afcourse it's just human, But the way she does it makes her special. Humans just keep surprising me, but she does the most. That's why I want her soul it has always been in the darkness and the hatred but it stays pure through her devotion.

She looks at me with her blue eyes I keep a pokerface, she doesn't have to know what I thought about just now. I keep massaging her back with soap. When I get to her hair I pull out the braid I made for the party and untangle it. I slowly begin with the soap my fingers dance over her hair, it's so soft and nice just like her soul.

Sebastian closes the door behind him when he is done and walks away, the guest room I'm lying in becomes very dark. After a few minutes I hear a soft knock on the door, what does sebastian want? Then an bright light comes from the hall and Erai walks in my room. "Aren't you sleeping yet my honey?" His voice sounds really creepy, he comes closer and closer. "Erai?" "I have to now about the case you spoke about with the queen, tell me which case did you inform her about?" He stood close to the bed and I sat up against the headboard from it , I could feel his breath in my face. "Calm down Erai! It was just some advice about the underworld, children has been lost for months and with some contacts I found them. She was just worried sick about them!" I got really angry with him, he always has to know what I'm doing. Erai sat on the bedside and from the bright light that was coming from the hall I could see a mix of anger and disbelief in his eyes. "I hope you are not lying to me Shizukana" I looked him fierce in the eyes, Erai continued his sentence "and if you do I hope you are prepared for the rest of your miserable life with me, as my wife." The last words came out with such disgrace, he spit on my face and walked out of the room. His saliva dripped down my eye and I wiped it away with my sleeve. This was literally horrible I felt gross and I still got to marry him. Great! Just great!

After a while I stood up and walked, with shaking legs, over to the bathroom I looked at my face in the mirror. I looked tired without make-up and somehow that was true it was just to much for me to handle these past few days. I splashed some wather in my face and held my head in my hands. I heard the bathroom door open and after that I heard footsteps. A hand was laid on my shoulder, I turned around and saw Sebastian standing with a caring look in his eyes. "Maybe you should sleep before you catch a cold, young mistress." I just stood there and nodded. He led me back to my bed and wrapped me in the blankets. "Sebastian I order you, you're the only one who should never lie to me, who should never betray me!" I desperately clung on to his neck, Sebastian was caught off guard, he gently unwrapped my arms and lay them beside my body. He bowed deep with his hand on his chest "yes, young mistress." He never said much but these words always knew a way to calm me down. I closed my eyes and drifted off in a soundless sleep.

When I saw my young mistress close her eyes I knew she was asleep, I walked towards the door and thought about the glimpse of fear in her eyes when she said that I must never betray her. She was really worried for these past few days. Erai had changed her, and not in a good way. I smelled his scent on her face when she stood across me in the bathroom. What is he doing and what is going on here. I hope to find that out as soon as possible, the young mistress shouldn't go through this all and it's my duty as her butler to take care of that.
