The day passed by really quickly. Honestly i just don't like school . If i could drop out ... but nope ny grades are too good for my parents to let that fly .
Im not going straight home just yet cause i wanna watch basketball practice, i was invited after all . I head to the court where the boys are still just standing in small groups having their own conversations. I go over to where Tremani is standing with that jerk Jayden from earlier.

"Hey Maya ," Tremani says messing my hair up , damn his height .
"Ugh Tremani give my curls a break would ya ?" I laugh swatting his hands away .
Me and Jayden make eye contact before he speaks " came to watch me play ?" He chuckles and i roll my eyes .
"You invite me ?" I fold my arms .
"No i did , yall know each other?" Tremani answers .
"She my lil homie ," Jayden says putting his arm round my shoulders . And i move away instantly .
"Your friend here .." Jayden interupts me
"Brother ,"
"Whatever your brother here implied that im some type of thotiana ass hoe ," i scoff .
"Jay," Tremani looks at him disappointed.
"Hey man chill out , it was my bad , sorry ma ," he sighs .

Lowkey felt real bad about what i did to Maya , im glad she accepted my apology.
"Soooooo , yall fucking ?"
"What ? Jay why would you think that ?" Tre laughs .
"Hes just a friend, " Maya laughs along with him .
"A friend you invite to practice? I got my eye on you Tremani Barlett ."
The coach signals us to get on the court. Practice goes by smoothly, a bunch of girls were cheering for different guys except Maya , she was just on her phone the whole time .
After practice i head back to my car trying to make curfew . I try to start the car but it doesnt start . "Shit ," i sigh realising i had left the engine on , how i did that i dont know .
Almost everyone has left and they're only a few cars left in the parking lot . I get out and look for Tremani's car but hes already gone . Just as im about to give up hope and call an uber i see Maya walking to a car . I dont know which car shes walking to until i see her stop at a range rover and take keys out of her purse . I run in that direction.
"Mayaaaaa!!" I shout out of breath.
"What ?" She looks at me annoyed.
"My car battery died , could you possibly gimme a ride home ?" I plead .
"Get on your knees and give me head first ," she stands with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face . Damn touchè .
"Well i mean we could go to the bathrooms and -," she interupts me as i was stepping closer .
"Ew gross , just get in the car Jayden ,"
"What do you mean ew ? U asked for it ," i laugh going to the passenger side .
