December 11th 1888, 6:06:07am: Dear journal,

there I was, laying in the grass bed, symbols carved within my knuckles... dead leaves in my hair. was I in danger, was my plead not satisfying enough for those of my selfish kind to accept me... I won't take back what I did, I pledged my life so he could be risen from his slumber. I feel strange, awoken yet tired, sanitary yet dirty, weakened but strong. my veins feel like they'd burst If I had moved, but again strangely I feel the warmth inside which I had not had before...

December 14th 1888, 9:30am -:

Fewer days had passed and I heard my name echo in the distant woods, not once... but by one person...

"Elaina! Please speak with me, I promise I shall listen!"

There it was again, that voice which sounded so familiar, twas getting closer to me... should I move? I'm not afraid to die.. I live for him and for himself only. That moment I'd stay there... as this voice called out to me becoming more clear with every step.

"Elaina! Are you alright.. you had me worried to death I tell you!"

Ah, Sarah... she caressed my face in panic then jolted away in fear of my hands for they were covered in dry blood.

"What happened Elaina... you must tell me for me to help you."  I decided it was best to be told then not told. I had know her as a babe, so I trusted her with everything. Sarah was like a mother to me, the only one who truely understood me.

"I shan't tell you all, but I will confess I need to get away from here... I shall speak once we're at a far enough distance from Mirkwood."

The small town of Mirkwood was a quiet place, it was rumoured long ago that witches we're living amongst our kind... those who were given the title followed the devil and were hung for the curses they brought to the land, what I hadn't know at the time was that I, was the second generation of these witches for I could not understand one thing...

I was in love with the devil himself...
