December 14th 1888, 12:30pm :-

it had been a few hours since Sarah had found me, my mind is quite scrambled with thoughts, I've begun to see things abnormal... atypical visions, could they be... memories? they don't feel like my own, but familiar they are... I've seen some of these somewhere before...

"Elania, we're quite far away now... here let me treat your wounds." She gently would grab my hands and begun to wrap them in some soft fabric. Her hands had never felt so cold... I never knew my parents, I grew up in an orphanage behind the North Mirkwood forest, Sarah was a guardian there when I was little and practically raised me up until now.

"Thank you... pardon me but, how did you find me." I'd reply calmly.
"This isn't the first time you've run off, you always manage to run to the same spot even after all this time." I begun to feel confused and interested as she continued to wrap my hands.

"What do you mean Sarah...? The same spot?"
"Well yes, even as a child when we'd play hide and go seek you'd go to the same place, right next to that large tree." I wondered why? I had no memory or reminder of this place, it was like whenever I had left I'd forgotten about it up until now. That tree, it's like I've known it my whole life not just as a hiding spot but a significant place. Why does it feel somewhat familiar...

"Did you fall over Elania? Maybe hit your head..? You seem quite out of it as of recent..."
"No. No, I'm... quite alright." Sarah would look at me with a concerned look, I must recall Sarah having blue eyes... yet they seem more... dead and grey...

"What happened to your hands. What's with the symbols... what do they mean?" Sarah was asking to many questions I started to get irritated.
"I'm not completely sure, I don't exactly know how I got them or how my hand got so bloody..."
"Well then. Everyone's been talking about you, you've been gone for 3 days... what happened to you Elaina your hands and clothes are filthy." I begun to hear voices I couldn't focus on what Sarah was saying.

"Can you hear that..?"
"Hear what Elania, there's no one else here but you and I." Sarah places her cold hands on my shoulders trying to grab my attention.

"Elaina...?"

I kept hearing a voice not Sarah's though, it was as if it was being carried by the wind. All around me I could feel a presence of an entity not just one but many whom I had once known. They were chanting, was it an incantation? A spell? What were they trying to tell me...

"Elaina! What are you saying, what kind of language is this, stop it! Just talk to me-"

...Suddenly I was alone, I brung myself back to reality and realised Sarah... had disappeared. The women whom had wrapped my hands and whom had raised me had left my sight. Sarah? Where have you gone.
