4~First impressions

As Impa drove away in her car, I stood infront of the school gates like a total idiot. I mean with all the schools in this world it had to be this one?

Oh goddesses, what have I gotten myself in to?

Ok Zelda! Now's not the time to be a pessimist. You've worked too hard for this. There is no turning back.

Despite the circumstances, I couldn't help myself be drawn by the magnificent high school.

I stood in front of the opened gate. The whole school was surrounded by a brown brick fence. The school owned probably about 20 acres of land. I couldn't see the back of the school, but I can only imagine.

As I walked through the gate entrance, I saw hundreds of students scattered across the beautiful evergreen. To get to the schools main entrance I had to follow a wide brick path. As I walked, I admired the thousands of trees on the well trimmed grass. Everywhere I looked, there were magnificent trees and flowers.

When I looked ahead I admired the high school. It was made in a fancy brick, if that's even possible. To be honest, it reminded me of how my castle looked like years ago.

It had a real elegant feel to it.

Once I entered the school finding the main office was easy, since it was the first thing I saw.

I mean, why wouldn't the main office be right in front of the main door.

There was a desk beside the main office door that said "information".

Behind the desk sat a young woman. Her long black hair was tied in a low ponytail. It complemented her pale skin. She was wearing a blue tank top with a black blazer.

"Hello, how can I be of service?" The lady said.

"My name is Z-Alice Green and I'm new here"

"Oh yes, I have your schedule right here. There you go. If you need any help, you know where I am!"

"Thank you."

Just as I was about to take a look at my schedule, a hand touches my shoulder.

"Hi! Are you n....AHH!"

As soon as he touched my shoulder, I didn't hesitate to take his hand and flip him over my shoulder.

"Hey! Don't you know not to sneak up on a person like that!" I said angrily. I mean seriously? Who does that!

"I-I......"

The boy with shaggy brown hair was still on the ground. He was wearing a white shirt with brown pants. He seemed scared. I guess I was kind of harsh on the poor kid.

"Look I'm sorry, let me help you up" I said as I helped him up.

"I should be the one apologizing, I shouldn't of snuck up on you like that. "
He whispered.

Great, my first day at school and I've already scared the pants off of someone.

"How about we start over? Hi, I'm Alice Green and I'm a new student here." I said as I shook his hand.

"Hi! I'm Pit and I'm the 10th grade's Vice President. Since we're in the same grade, I was sent here to help guide you in this maze of a school!" He said cheerfully.

I have a good feeling about this kid. There was something about him that reflected innocence. Something pure.

"Well mister school guide, why don't we start the tour?"

"Ok so here we have the....Oh Hi dear, how are you on this fine morning!"

"And who might THIS be?" She said in a rather annoyed tone as she glared at me.
