I spent the whole day looking after Hyunjin and by dinner he got a lot better.

After dinner we went to the living room and sat down facing each other.

"So Nancy was my crush in high school before I met you"- Hyunjin began.

"I liked her because she helped people but little did I know she had a whole plan behind it.

So she started doing these good things to get my attention. I still remember the day when I went to confess my feelings to her I heard her say 'That Hyunjin boy? Duh I do like him, not too much tho but he is gonna be pretty useful to me. He's famous so it'll help me become more famous if people come to know we are dating' she said and started laughing like a witch.

I felt my heart shatter into pieces so I ran to the tree by the lake and sat there crying and then when you saw me crying, you came and comforted me.

I slowly became friends with you and realized that you were genuinely nice to the people around you unlike Nancy and that's when I realized I fell in love with you.

You were there when I was going through the worst and you even helped me overcome it.

I forgot about Nancy's existence slowly so I never bothered to check whether I had her contact or not.

In the past few months her company was struggling but she somehow found out that H Fashions aka my company was booming with the best sales so she decided to get in touch with me again and use me.

That's why she came over that day. Seeing her only brought back those bad memories again and I didn't want her to harm you so I kept our marriage a secret and that's also the reason why I would stare at my phone for long some times as the feeling of all those sufferings came back to me"- Hyunjin explained.

He then took my hand in his and caressed it with his thumb.

"You are the one I will love all my life and no matter what happens I'll always be by your side so please have faith in me and trust me babe"- he said as he leaned in for a kiss.

We shared a small kiss when suddenly Hyunjin's phone started buzzing.

It wasn't a call but an alarm.

"Give me a moment"- he winked and walked up to his room.

After what seemed like an hour I heard Hyunjin shout from his room.

"BAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBEEEEEEEEEE!!"-he shouted.

"WHAAAAT??"- I shouted back too lazy to move.

He didn't reply to me and came back down to the living room.

"What is it?"- I asked him.

He picked me up bridal style and whispered in my ears- "Close your eyes"

I instantly close my eyes.

I could feel him carrying me somewhere but I had no clue where.

After some time he put me on what seemed like a sofa and asked me to open my eyes.

As I opened my eyes I found myself in his room which was decorated with streamers and balloons, there was a table in front of me with some gifts a cake, a dress and a tiara.

I looked behind me to find balloons that read 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' and turned around towards Hyunjin.

"Wait- Is it my birthday today?!"- I asked him shocked.

"Yess babe!"- he exclaimed.

"I never told you my birth date so how did you know?!"- I asked him as a matter of fact.

"Well we always celebrated your birthday together during high school"- he told me with a proud look.

"AND YOU REMEMBERED IT!"- I shouted as I stood up from the sofa and went to him and hugged him tightly.

"Well duh"- he said and hugged me back.

He then pulled away from the hug and gave me the dress and the tiara.

"Try them on!"- he told me.

I quickly went to the washroom and changed into the dress and let my hair down and put the tiara on my head.

As I walked out of the washroom Hyunjin looked at me and his jaw dropped.

"What?"- I asked him.

"I-I- Babe y-you look so pretty"- he said still not taking his eyes off me.

"Aww thank you"- I told him as I sat in front of the table and cut the cake and blew out the candles.

"Happy 26th birthday babe!!"- Hyunjin said and put some icing on my nose.

I then started opening the gifts.

He had given me a Dior perfume and an Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance makeup palette.

There was another black bag inside which there were TWO PLANE TICKETS TO MALDIVES!!

"Babe you really didn't have to do all of this!!"- I told him almost breaking down to tears.

"Of course I had to! It's your birthday after all!"- he said as he pecked my forehead.

"Ohk now it's late already and our flight is at 6 am so let's start packing"- He told me as he cut himself a piece of cake.

"Cool! I'll get my suitcase and you bring your clothes to my room so that we can pack together!"- I told him stealing a bite from his cake and running away.

"YAH!"- he shouted and then looked at me with a pout.

I looked back in from the small opening of the door and stuck out my tongue and ran away.
