It has been 2 months since Chan and I started "dating".
I don't feel any changes from my end to be honest.
But as for Chan he's really been considerate towards me.
He'd send me good morning good night texts every day. He'd often take me out for a walk or to art exhibitions in order to help me get inspos and he even added some special dishes in his cafe menu as per my taste.
I really feel bad for not being able to return the same feelings to him but it's just how I feel.
Also I had completed NEXUS and even put it up in my studio.

As I was clearing my drawing materials my phone started ringing.
"Hello?"
"Hye Hye! big news!!"
"What happened now Lix-"
"Ok so we are starting a new fashion line but our editor is sick and I wanted to use this chance to collab with you as well you know since you were in this industry before too"
"But that is strictly only if you are ok with it..."
"Ok so what do I exactly have to do?"
"You basically have to design some of the dresses for us and then we'll make it come to life!"
"*chuckles* Ok finee only for you I'll do it muah"
"Thank you so much Hye~"
"It means a lot!"
"Ok wait- one more question are you gonna mention my name as the collaborator?"
"Yes duh"
"Then I have a request..."
"What is it?"
"Can we not use my korean name? I don't want people to find out my location or anything about me.."
"Yeah I understand and it's absolutely fine with me...but, what name should I give then?"
"Ah Lee Hyoori" "SINCE WHEN DO YOU HAVE THAT NAME?!?!?!"
"Goodness don't shout like that! I have had it ever since I started my studio"

As soon as we hung up my phone chimed again and a notif popped up:

Lixiee: Ok so I hope you've read it and as for the theme we are going for a winter snow-ish vibes
Me: Ahh kk
Lixiee: Also I'll give our team leader Mr. Kang your number so u can contact him about the plans and all
Me: Keep my name in mind tho-
Lixiee: Yes yes I will dw seen
I sat down and sighed.
I immediately started working with the dress-line since I didn't want to delay their release.
[there's gonna be a few time skips in these few chaps since nothing important takes place during this time so yeah]
It was kinda hard though.
To come up with all the designs coz- 1. I haven't designed clothes in a year now. 2. I don't have anyone to help me or give suggestions.

He's an absolute dimwit when it comes to these.
After 1 month~
I was just cleaning up the studio when the wind chime started blowing meaning a customer has come.
"Welcome to my art studi-"
I turned around to be faced with the last person I'd want to see now.
Hwang Hyunjin.
And right then Chris came in- "Heyy babe!!"
That's it.
I'm doomed.
As soon as he saw Hyunjin he was shocked too.
Hyunjin turned around to see Bangchan and then looked at the coffee in his hand.
"I-i-"
I tried saying something but my body gave up over me and I passed out.
After waking up~ I found myself in a familiar place.
I rubbed my eyes to get a clearer view and saw that I was lying in Chris' café.
"Oh you are awake"- I turned around to see Chris standing in his apron.
"Y-yeah.."
"It's ok you weren't a burden to me"- he said and smiled.
"H-hyunjin...do you know where he went?"- I asked him my voice trailing off.
"No...after you passed out I rushed with u into my café and when I went to the studio to lock it he wasn't there anymore"- he told me and I simply nodded.
"Chan..I don't think it's working between us and if I am being honest...it's kind of like a burden for me.
I always feel guilty for not being able to return the same emotions and feelings towards you...
So I think we should b-break up..."
"It's ok I u-understand"- he said as his voice cracked and smiled.
The smile...
It was filled with pain I could see it. But it's the best for us this way and we both know it.
I sighed as I got up and thanked him for letting me rest in his café and then went back home.
A lot of things happened today so I fell asleep as soon as my head hit my pillow.
Hyunjin POV~ I was walking through the streets when I saw this art studio.
It seemed very pretty from the outside so I decided to go in and check it out.
As soon as I walked in the wind chime started ringing due to the wind.
"Welcome to my art studi-"- the female said and turned around.
To my surprise it was her.
Hwang Hyein.
Or should I call Lee Hyein...
Right then someone else walked in and said- "Heyy babe!!"
I could feel them stop walking so I turned around to be met by Bangchan and in his hand for a cup of coffee which I suppose was for Hyein.
So she was dating him now?
Did he help her run away?
How long have they been dating?
Were the questions which clouded my mind but suddenly a loud thud was heard and I looked in front to see Hyein lying on the floor unconscious.
Before I could pick her up Chan put the coffee on the table and picked her up and ran out.
I sighed as I saw him running outside.
This is what it has come to now...
I went outside and went back to the hotel and started crying.
Did she never love me?
Was whatever we had so priceless to her that she could let go of it so easily?
Just then my phone started ringing.
I looked at the contact and it was my assistant Maya.
"Yes?"- I said as my voice cracked a little bit but I don't think she noticed it.
"Sir you have to take over Mr. Kang's project.."
"Why what happened?"
"Mr. Kang's health hasn't been doing well so he quit and asked me to tell you to lead the project"
"Ah ok. Can you send me the details?"
"Yes I've mailed them already"
"Also you have a meeting with Ms. Lee Hyoori day after tomorrow to finalize the dress designs"
"Ohkk thanks for informing I'll check it out"
"She stays in Australia so since you are there I'll send you the location of the meeting and her number shortly"
"Ohkk"- I said and hung up.
*sighs*
I went to the desk and opened my laptop and went to check my mails.
So this girl named Lee Hyoori is apparently a very good artist and pretty famous here in Australia and she is also helping us with the dress designs for our new fashion line.
Hmm winter snow-ish theme I see.
I got curious about this person and since she was famous in Australia I decided to search her up on the net.
I found a whole article about her but it didn't have any pictures of her.
After reading it I found out that she released a series of drawings called NEXUS and upon scrolling further down I found pictures of it..
They were pictures of a mother embracing her daughter...
And it reminded me of Hyein..
She had always wanted a daughter...
I sighed after seeing the pictures and then shut my laptop down and went to sleep.
