Sarita.

We are all going to watch the sunset together tonight.

The topic of Arizona having the prettiest skies had came up during our breakfast conversations, immediately catching the attention of Harry. He mentioned that he had only caught a glimpse of the sunset one time in the last month that they've been here, but it wasn't long enough for him to really admire it.

Joel started to rave about how much he and I used to go on morning hikes pretty often in our past to catch the sunrise and suggested that maybe Harry could join along on our next hike. So until then, we made the group decision to head to the local gas station, grab some snacks, and head out to one of my favorite spots to watch the sun go down: Cathedral Rock.

It was about an hour drive from here to where the landmark was located in Sedona, but we have all made the drive so often that it felt more like a thirty minute trip to us. Nothing was too far for us. Since we could not obviously be able to fit all thirteen of us into one car, we had to divide up into three different cars, one being Ayla's Acura MDX, Danny's Honda CRV, and the other being Joel's Ford Explorer.

In Ayla's car would be herself, Aria, Esme, and Juliette. In Danny's car was going to be him, Evie, Maggie, Goldie, and myself.  Lastly, Joel's car would carry himself, Hazel, Maël and Harry. Before it was fully decided, Hazel tried to get me to pile into the car to sit next to Harry, but I politely declined. Plus, we had all made our decisions based off what music was going to be played in each car. Ayla took the first initiative and announced that she was going to be playing The Weeknd's newest album the entire way there while Danny opted for an indie playlist he found on Spotify this week. As for Joel, he volunteered Harry as his designated DJ after he heard about his exquisite taste in music. A little flash of jealously flew through me, but not enough to get me to change my mind of where I wanted to sit.

Before we set out for sunset, I had overheard him talking to Maggie about the new record she had brought over to him from Zee's, thanking her for the "exclusive heat" since she had taken it straight out of the shipment they received before they could put it on the shelves. When Joel asked him what the artist was, Harry's entire face lit up with excitement, the kind where his lips curled up into a wide smile, showing his two top teeth that hung a little longer than the others and extenuating his dimples that poked through his cheeks.

He really was so beautiful.

Anyway, after he had his moment of excitement, he ran right to his room and offered for anyone who was interest to follow so he could show off his vinyl collection. Without a beat, Joel jogged after him while the others stayed put in the kitchen still engaged in their own conversation.

After last night, I knew that I wasn't going to be able to shut my mind off when it came to Harry. I wanted to know what kind of music he listened to, what his likes and dislikes were, I just wanted to get closer to him. Though the feelings were extremely confusing and terrifying to me, I found myself trailing along behind Joel to walk into Harry's room to see his vinyl collection.

Walking in, the first thing I took notice of was the natural sunlight coming in from the two windows on opposite sides of the other. The walls of his room were white, caramel colored furniture to accent to the color well. His bed sheets were also white to match the pure tape od aesthetic his room was giving off. If I didn't know any better, I would say the person who decorated their entire house was an avid Pinterest user.

Juliette told us last night when we all arrived that this place was an Airbnb that they were able to snag for a great deal on a monthly basis, depending on how long they wanted to stay. When she dropped that last part of the sentence, it had brought a small pain to my chest at the idea of them leaving at any possible moment, but I couldn't think about that again. Especially not when I have the perfect opportunity to enjoy the time we do have with them, who was I to dread the future?
