Chapter One- Give Me A Break

My mind is blank as I look at the wall with all the rage inside of me. Tears cascade down my face one by one. The events keep playing over and over again in my mind.
' I'm leaving you here!' Her words come back to me over and over again. It's like there's a broken record and it's repeating itself, reminding me that she hates me.
My own mother hates me. She doesn't want me in her house because I have needs. The one that birthed me has a problem with me being alive and breathing.
My heart pounds against my chest slowly but steadily. Everything starts to smother me and I yank at my hair angrily. my screams echo from wall to wall.
My bed creaks as I raise up off of the bed. I swing my door open and walk out of the house to take a walk.
The air hits my face hard and I suck in a deep breath. I let all my problems slip away one by one.
"Kind of late and cold out for a walk, don't you think?" My head slowly rises to the person in front of me. My mouth literally hits the ground as I try to wipe my tears away hastily. His smirk disappears and he looks down at me sadly.
"Sometimes it helps with everything going on in my life."
He looks at me with his head tilted to the side.
"The name's Grayson." He smiles at me nicely.
"My name's Unique."
