Friday

DING! The bell on the door chimed and you quickly swivel round, first customer of the day. Excitedly you scoot over towards the counter. As soon as you clap eyes on the person that walked in your heart exploded, a hot sensation burned through you, from your chest to you core.

"You only speak Greek don't you?" He winced slightly as you shook yourself out of the sudden loss of the ability to look or process anything other than the blue eyed, brown haired bombshell in front of you.

"Erm no no, sorry yes, I speak English" you recover yourself and smile hearing a sigh of relief from the American. Your father was Greek, you mother wasn't and you'd spent almost 20 years living in England with her so your English was spot on, your Greek was also spot on as its the only thing your father spoke to you in. You'd decided to move to Greece when you were 22, you needed a fresh start, you mother was never around anymore, always off with other men and you were fed up of your boring office job. So, you came back and started living the dream by setting up your own record shop. You dealt with most people in Greek but you got a lot of tourists so switching between the two languages became second nature.

"Thank god." the guy flashed you a smile as he looked around.

"You're new here aren't you?" You say playfully as he starts flicking though some of the 80s dance music.

"3 months, what gave me away?" He bounced back equally as playful.

"The sheer panic in your voice at having to speak Greek" you laugh remembering the worry in his eyes.

"Perhaps I should learn some..." he looked up thoughtfully "but then being American I get away with a lot soooo" he did a cute little nose scrunch that made your heart do a flip.

"Well 3 moths is a long time for you to just be a tourist?"

"I got a job, DJ" he raised a brow triumphantly.

"I think I could have guessed." you smirk back in reply joining him over by the records  "that the reason for you browsing over here?" you motion to the collection.

"Yes it....hang on what do you mean you could have guessed?" He sets a hand on his hip, just in the right position to show off the muscles of his strong arms. He looks at you, a mock hurt expression on his face.

"I can tell a newbie DJ when I see one, how do you think I make all my money" you stick your tongue out at him.

"If you charge me extra I won't come back" he raises an eyebrow.

"Alright, have fun with 'I refuse to speak English Yiorgos' at Σοδειά Εγγραφές " You shrug and walk off behind the counter.

"Alright, you win... I need this store and your English skills" he follows you with an arm full of records and places them on the counter.

"I always win" You take them one by one and begin to scan.

"So.... I never got your name.." he says smoothly as he leans a arm on the counter, his ocean blue eyes making your legs fell like jelly.

"Y/N"

"I'm Mickey"

"It nice to meet you, Mickey the DJ" you can't control the smile on your face as he, not so discreetly checks you out. Just as you begin to sort out payment a loud but familiar voice comes bursting though the door.

"There you are!"

"Argyris!"

"Oh god, don't tell me he is your guide to Greece?" You roll your eyes but a slight twinkle of fondness slips though.
