It was early morning when Yuddhishtir and Sagarika were out in the forest, collecting woods. She noticed that he was being awfully quiet.
"Arya ?" Sagarika asked.
"Yes." He looked at her.
"Why are you being so quiet ?" Sagarika asked.
"Its nothing." Yuddhishtir said looking at the other side.
"Something is bothering you. Tell me what it is." Sagarika said.
"You don't have to be worried, dear." Yuddhistir said with breaking voice.
Sagarika frowned, she came in front of him and saw tears streaming down his face.
"Arya ? Why are you crying ?" She asked.
Yuddhisthir looked at her and then fell on his knees, remembering the incident of Dyut.
"I have failed you, I don't deserve be your husband." Yuddhishtir said.
"So its Dyut Sabha." Sagarika said sitting beside him.
"Yes. How could I stake you ? How could I stake my own brothers whom I raised since they were children ? How can I ?" Yuddhishtir sobbed.
"Arya, your brothers have no grudge against you nor do I. You have my forgiveness and a chance of redemption then why do you torment yourself ?" Sagarika asked.
"Its not your forgiveness I seek. It's just that I don't know whether I can forgive my soul." Yuddhishtir said.
"Keshav always said that whatever has happened has happened for a good reason and whatever is happening is happening for a good reason. Its just that we humans fail to see that greater good." Sagarika said.
"What do you mean ?" Yuddhishtir asked.
"That whatever you did was the plan of Paramaatma. Whatever happened to me also happened for a reason. All of this will lead to a greater good, that is Dharmsthapna." Sagarika said.
"If that's the case, then I won't weep. Sagarika I promise you that I will give you justice and do everything in my power to establish Dharma. You once again will become the Supreme empress of Bharatvarsh and sit by my side as the sun of the new era will rise." Yuddhishtir said.
"I am sure Arya, it will happen for Paramaatma is with us." Sagarika smiled.
Both looked at each other and smiled. Sagarika wiped off his tears as he pulled her into his embrace.
