Ink gulped a bit as he got cornered by Reaper. "I-It was just a cup of coffee, buddy... I-I can pay for a new cup of coffee or something like that if that'll mean anything to you..." Ink had no hope that that excuse would work, but to his surprise, Reaper went silent. Reaper looked Ink dead in the eye with a quiet expression. "You'll actually pay for a new coffee for me?..." he cocked an eyebrow at Ink. Ink started nodding immediately. "O-Of course! W-Why wouldn't I want to do that for my dear pal, Death?..." Reaper nodded a bit as he held out his hand, expecting the payment. So, Ink was quick to take out the money from an unknown wallet's location and handed him the money. "W-We good now?..." Reaper nodded. "Mhm. I'll be taking my leave, for now. I'll see ya later, Ink. Also, ya should probably start running. Nightmare sent out some of his minions to go looking for ya. Good luck with that!" Reaper lazily grinned at Ink before teleporting away. Ink sighed in relief as Reaper left. "Oh thank the stars he left..." Ink looked at Error. "Sorry about that interruption, but you heard Reaper. I should probably head out before Nightmare's gang catches me, ya know?"

Error just huffed softly. "YeAh, YeAh, GeT oUtTa HeRe, Ya GlItCh." Ink narrowed his eyes at Error a bit for being called a glitch, but shrugged it off as he made a new portal and ran through it; the portal closing behind him. Ink should really be more observant about where he opens portals to. After all, one of these days, it may just get him in massive trouble. And as it would seem, if he doesn't choose a specific Au to open a portal to, a portal to a place he has been to at least somewhat recently is where it would take him. Out of all the places it could have taken him, none of them were better than the other; aside from maybe his and Slasher's castle. That place would be safe. But with his luck, would the brush bring him to that place of actual safety? Not a chance. As he glanced around, he saw he was in a familiar colorful room. The moment he realized where he was, his face paled a little bit. Why here. Why.. "Shit..." he grumbled under his breath as he tried to make a portal to leave.

Unfortunately for him, the brush didn't seem to want to cooperate with him now. "Work, dammit! I don't have time for this, Broomie!" he whisper-shouted at his brush. Just then, he heard footsteps coming up the stairs. There's no way he got heard, right? He was so quiet! Or so he thought, until he noticed he had accidentally knocked something over. "Oh shit..." his eye sockets went dark for a moment in seemingly fear as he heard the door open; light pouring into the room as the door was opened. And the moment his eyelights met with the other's eyelights, there was a moment of tension between the two.
