We've been at my house for a while. It was basically already night time and I don't think she had any intention of leaving. Didn't bother me though. She was laying behind me on her phone while I was online playing my game.
"Now look" She got up all of a sudden and grabbed my face with her acrylics to look at her.
"Huh" I paused my game and looked at her.
"What if I was a chicken. Would you still let me in your house. Because I know if I were one I would let me" She said to me.
I stared at her with a light smile trying to figure out what to say. She stared at me cutely just waiting for the words to roll off my tongue. "Your gay" I said quickly before turning back to my game.
"Wha- but that wasn't the question" She took my headset off my head and grabbed my face again. "Would you?"
"I don't know, I got attacked by a chicken when i was younger so I don't really like them" I laughed. "But if you were the chicken then yes I'd let you in"
"I knew it" She said being cocky.
"Or maybe I'd just cook and eat you"
"That's rude" She shoved me with a laugh.
All of a sudden we both paused when we heard a noise. It was coming from the living room but mine you, it's 10pm and Sabrina wasn't here. She had told me she was going to sleep at the studio because she didn't wanna come home and get discouraged to finish her album.
Me and Billie looked at each other before looking back at the door. I got up with my left fist baller and my right hand on the door knob.
"Wait your going to fucking die" Billie whisper yelled.
"I'm rican, We never die first" I whispered back at her. She gave me a "fuck you" look making me smile a little. I started turning the knob slowly while we still heard all the noise. I swung the door open before running into the dark kitchen, I bumped something that seemed exactly like a person and my first instinct was to swing on them. So I did. My right first connected with some body part before I heard a hard thud and a yell.
Billie ran into the kitchen turning the lights on and catching me by surprise. She stood by my side on shock. "Who are you guys?" She questioned the man I had just punched to the floor and a woman standing at his side.
"We just moved here we were told this was our apartment" She answered in panic.
"How were you guys told that if this apartment already belongs to someone? I pay a lot of fucking rent to them to have random people walking into where I live"
"Wait aren't you guys like........famous?" The guy had woken up. He squinted up at us while still on the floor. Me and Billie laughed embarrassingly .
"See we have to get to the lobby and fix this" I said helping the girl get the guy from off the floor. I put on my shoes and Billie put on a proper pair of shorts before we all made our way down to the lobby. But to make a lot story short they really did just move in and the lady at the front desk got our apartments mixed up, and instead of giving them the keys to their apartment they gave them the spare key to mine. Which I honestly wasn't comfortable with, that meant if anyone working in the building that has access to the front desk really wanted to go in my house they honestly could.
Time to move.
"We apologize miss Y/L/N"
"It's fine but my lease expires this month, I'm leaving. Thanks for all you guys help but I've gotta go" was the last thing I said before walking away. I wasn't necessarily mad but it was also hard to believe what had just happened. I knew in the morning I'd be asking Billie to help me house hunt.
-Morning-
In my mine I was awake. But physically I wasn't. My eyes were still closed and my body was still asleep but it was like I was alert. So alert that I heard something fall and smack the floor in the kitchen. Jumping up I ran from my room and to the kitchen just to see Billie picking pots and pans from off the floor. She looked at me awkwardly.
"Why are you playing with my pots?"
"I'm not playing with them bozo, I was hungry"
"You could've ordered something" I said sitting on a stool at my island. I watched as she bent over to put away everything she had spilled back in the bottom cabinet. "Great view by the way"
"Eat a dick" She spit at me making me laugh.
"But anyway I need to start house hunting. Who do you think is a good realtor around the hills? I need to find a house in less than 22 days"
"Wow that's not a challenge at all" She picked up her phone off the counter and started scrolling. She scrolled through something on her phone for about 5 minutes while I just played with my fingers. I watched as her eyes scanner words on her screen. "How about this place? Simple but nice, fully furnished. It's the same guy I bought my house from a couple years ago"

"How much?" I asked walking to the fridge and grabbing a whole bag of cherries.
"976k" I rubbed my eyes. Well fuck, I don't think I've ever spent that much money. Honestly, could I even afford that? I have no idea what my bank balance is, I honestly don't even know how much I make.
"I don't know if I could afford that"
"You can" I shot my head to the voice behind me. It was Sabrina. "Manager called this morning, you have more than enough money to buy the house.....like way more than enough"
"Oh" I turned back to Billie. "I though you had to be at the studio?"
"Pushed some dates back, I'll be good. But on the other hand if your gonna buy that house it's gonna need to be now because you and miss girl in front of you still need to finish GOLDWING"
"Ding ding reminder" Billie shouted but I paid her no mine.
"Yeah I forgot. We should really finish that"
"Listen here's a schedule right" Sabrina put her arm around me. "If you want the house hit the guy up and try to see it as soon as possible. Like seriously, then spend the rest of today and tomorrow at the studio. At that point you guys would be all good" With a shrug she grabbed her bag and started walking out. "I'm been seeing this guy so me and him will be moving in together so don't worry on me okay, love you byeeee" She's too fast.
"You heard the girl" Billie caught my attention with my words. "Well chop chop"
