Chapa's pov:

I stand up on a bench in the main hall

Miles walks up to me so i jump down from the bench

Miles:so I'm inviting some of my friends to a lake you wanna go with us
Chapa:sure what time should i be there
Miles:we were actually walking right now

-At the lake-
Justin:hey guys i'm here did i miss anything
Miles:hey Justin we were just asking about where you were
Justin:oh i brought some drinks

I go back to the group and we all decided to run in the water so we did.

He runs on the dock and jumps in doing a cannonball into the water.

We all get out of the water and start to walk to the table.

We all grab our clothes and go to the bathroom to change.After we all change and put our shoes on we had to make a tough decision for dinner.

All of a sudden i hear a familiar buzz.I look at my clothes and see a red,green,and blue light flashing.
Chapa:sorry guys but i can't go to dinner
Miles:me neither

Chapa:because my parents want me home immediately
Madison:ok why do you have to leave Miles
Miles:My sister is on fire and i have to go pour water on her face

We grab our things and change real quick to see that the emergency was at the lake so we go into the woods and transform.

I check my watch and see that an unknown number sent a message
Unknown:you aren't safe here danger is here at this lake
I ignore the message and see that the villain was just walking in.I grab Miles's arm and pull him against the tree

Villain:NOBODY MOVE AND NO ONE GETS HURT
I peak around the tree to see that the villain is waving a gun around threatening to shoot.everyones hands were up and shaking because of how scared they were that means its the perfect moment.I tell Miles to stay here but to help if something goes wrong,i then sneak to another tree but accidentally snap a twig

He shoots the tree so i roll to a tree in front of me.He starts to go back to threatening people when i see danger force arrive.They made the wrong move by yelling that their here

Volt:*whispers*dumbasses time to take matters into my own hands
I sneak behind the downtown terrorist but he must've heard me because he swept my legs out from underneath me.
Downtown terrorist:ha this little girl thought she could save the day.
He pointed the gun at my head but i just brushed it off.I got another message on my watch from the same person.
Unknown:kick the gun out of his hands it will give you enough time to get up
I took that message in consideration and did what the person told me to do
Awol:be careful Volt he's the most wanted criminal in 12 states

Downtown terrorist:Ok now you've done it little girl
Volt:i'm 15 i'm not a little girl
I say as i see him start going towards the gun.He picks it up and immediately shoots me in the stomach.I can feel all the physical and mental pain going through my body.Everything was getting darker and darker and darker around me til i hear a voice.
Awol:Volt are you ok

I say before everything went black and my ears started to ring.I felt helpless and weak at that moment thinking about how i never saved the day,how i shouldn't deserve to be a hero,and most importantly how i put my best friend in so much pain.
Miles's pov:

Awol:VOLT WAKE UP YOU CAN'T BE DEAD
Cap man:Awol bud its gonna be alright the cops and ambulance is here to take her to the hospital

They load her up on the stretcher and take her to the hospital where she can hopefully be safe.
-1 week later-
Chapa was still in the coma in the hospital.Everyday now i visit hoping that she will wake up.Today i get to visit her again so maybe the universe will make a miracle happen today.I open the doors to the hospital and go to the front desk.
Receptionist:hi how may i help you
Miles:i'm here to see Chapa
Receptionist:ok room 415
Miles:thanks
Receptionist:no problem
I go to room 415 and i see her awake so i go over to her and kiss her.I KNOW CRAZY RIGHT.Omg why did i do that she's probably gonna hate me after this.
After the kiss i see a smile on her face

Miles:the doctor told me before i came in that you could go home so lets go

I pick her up bridal style but before she can say anything i teleport quickly to my room.i set her down on the bed and put the covers over her.i join her and turn on her favorite movie
Chapa:aww you remembered
Miles:of course i did now we are gonna spend the rest of the day binge watching jacobs coyote because it takes all day
Chapa:ok
We start watching the movies cuddling each other and by the time that all the movies were done it was 9:30 and we were sleeping peacefully.
