That special day in September

Chapa woke up with a massive headache and feeling nauseous.Her normally brown toned skin tone was a little bit paler than usual.She went down stairs and the whiff of Bacon and eggs instantly hit her.She peaked into the kitchen to see Miles cooking.Normally she would leave him alone but she felt like doing something different today
Chapa:morning love
Miles:Morning darling you hungry
Chapa:No
She sniffled and Miles turned off the stove.He went into a cabinet drawer and grabbed the thermometer.He put it up to her forehead
Miles:Aww darling you got fever
Chapa:oh do i now
Chapa chuckled a little but grabbed a water from the fridge on the way out
Miles:you need to go lay down
Chapa:really i'm fine it's just a fever
Miles:are you sure
Chapa:yes now Ray wanted us to meet him at the mans nest
Miles:ok
They both go to the mans nest and see the others there
Ray:Chapa fix your face
Chapa:1 i'm sick and 2 i got beat up by the downtown terrorist before i jumped off that cliff to save the day so i can't really fix ma face it has to heal
Ray:ok whatever so your probably wondering what i called you here for at 10:08am

Ray:well you guys are spending the day and night here
Mika:so basically a giant sleepover
Ray:exactly like that also i hope you guys are ready because we're starting off with laser tag but with actual lasers instead

Chapa:i can't have fun until my shift is over

Chapa walks out the door with Miles following her.She unlocks the mans truck doors but something stops her

Miles:one day he was sick but he denied it

Miles:he was out of town for a couple days still sick then my mom got a phone call saying how he died because of lung failure,the lung failure happened because he was sick
Chapa:i'm sorry for your loss but i'm also sorry because i have to work

Chapa drives off with the pinkish greenish sky above her,it smelt like cedar wood.Chapa tried to speed up trying to not be late for work even though she already is

Boss:ah Good Chapa your here please take this all to table 7 please

Boss:yep
Chapa goes outside of the building and sees Miles waiting in the man truck for her.She gets in the passenger seat and buckles while Miles backs out of the parking lot.
Chapa:i didn't know you could drive
Miles:just got ma license while you were at work
Chapa:cool
Ray:Ohh you guys are in love
Chapa:i would be lying if i said that i wasn't in love with this man

Mika:honestly i was mad at the beginning but now you guys cute

Chapa puts her hand in Miles's hand and rubs the back of his hand with her thumb.For the rest of the ride they listen to music but of course they had to play Careless Whispers in which Ray joined them in singing.While they were singing Bose and Mika looked at them with confusion and weirdness of their faces.The song ends and you guessed it Mika asked questions

Bose:i would also like to know
Ray:you guys won't understand its an oldies song

Chapa:ma parents when i was little we used to listen to it all the time
Miles:same my mom played it during a party that we had

Everyone gets out if the truck and goes into the mans nest to be greeted by Schwoz holding a folder
Miles:whats in the folder Schwoz
Chapa:DID YOU FIND MY POLICE RECORDS
Schwoz:No and why do you have police records
Chapa:that is a story you don't know i'm just gonna say peer pressure
Miles:ok well what is in the folder
Schwoz:thats for me not to know and Chapa to know
Schwoz gives the folder and Chapa takes it.When She opens it a letter falls into her lap.As Chapa is reading the letter her eyes get more and more teary eyed.As she finished she was already bursting with tears.
Chapa:OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS
Ray:WHAT whats happening
Chapa:MY PARENTS THEIR ALIVE
Suddenly theres a knock on the Swag doors.Everyone goes down stairs to Swag and Ray opens the door
Ray:hi hello yes how may i help you
?:we're here for Chapa
Ray:oh she's right here but why
Chapa:Mama?
Mama:Lula
Chapa:MAMA
Chapa runs into her mothers arms.they both don't want to let go because of all the lost time.
Papa:its time for a fatherly hug
Chapa:PAPA
Papa:oof i've missed you
Chapa:me too i got a question though
Mama:go for it

Mama:oh Lula that was your aunt an uncle they went undercover for us
Chapa:so papi and mimi are gone

Papa:they did it to save us and you Chapa

Mama:so can we see the mans nest
Ray:no you most certainly not
Papa:sir we are full on superheroes plus we know who all of you are captain man
Ray:well then i guess so but Chapa can i talk to you

The kids and the adults go upstairs to the mans nest while Chapa and Ray stay behind to talk.Ray didn't want to talk to Chapa because he wanted to he wanted to talk because he thought Chapa had told them
Ray:WHAT WERE YOU THINKING
Chapa:what do you mean
Ray:WHY DID YOU TELL THEM ABOUT THE MANS NEST NOW OUR IDENTITIES COULD BE AT RISK BECAUSE OF YOU
Chapa:YOU THINK THIS IS MY FAULT

Chapa:WELL GUESS WHAT IT ISN'T I NEVER TOLD THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE

Mika:do they think we can't hear them yelling

Miles:let me go check on them
Papa:ooh if he hurts her then I'm gonna kill him
-back down in Swag-
Ray was now furious about what he thought Chapa had did.so furious that he was about to shoot her with his laser but before he could the others came down
Miles:what are you doing Ray
Ray:what do you mean
Mika:don't play dumb you were about to use your laser i see it in your hand
Ray:what laser
Ray throws his laser out the open window and puts his hands behind his back

Chapa's father grabbed Ray's wrist and twisted it while kicking knee out so Ray is on his back.He started punching Ray with Ray saying "ow I'm okay" every minute.
Chapa:papa papa papa PAPA STOP
He stops immediately but after he stops Chapa started to cry so she sat in her chair and pressed the button,getting lifted up to the corner of the mans nest.No one knew what just happened cause it all happened so fast same with Chapa,they didn't know where she went but it should be easy to find her because they hope they knew that she was still in the premises.Now the others might not know where she is but Miles knew exactly where she was,on the edge of the mountain just sitting there thinking.Miles went there with the others observing in the mans nest.Well mostly everyone was observing,Chapa's parents were still in Swag talking about how he shouldn't of done that to Ray even if he angered him.
Miles:Chapa can we talk about what just happened
Chapa:i didn't really want to
Miles:well its just us so please
Chapa:don't say we are alone i could see the others right outside the door
Miles:well sure they are but thats only because they care about you
Chapa:even Schwoz
Miles:yes now please talk to me

All night Chapa laid down on the edge of the cliff feeling nothing as her whole body goes numb as she sleeps.It was still raining but she didn't mind all she had in her mind was if tomorrow is gonna be better than today.
