A small alarm clock chimes its soft tune, signaling the start of a new day. A young girl with short black hair sits herself up in her bed and rubs her eyes. She glances across the room to her sister who is still asleep, undisturbed by the alarm.

"Rosie, I'm using the bathroom first, I need a shower" she mutters getting only groans from her sister in reply. Downstairs the twin girls mother, Bella, is making the pack lunches for them and their father Bob, who at the time is clipping his belt holding his baton and handcuffs around his waist.

"I think my belt's shrunk" he grunts as he forces the clip together. Bella giggles to herself.

"Sure, its got nothing to do with stack of pancakes you have every morning" she says sarcastically as she places a sandwich in Bobs lunchbox and snaps the lid closed.

Bob throws on his brown leather jacket and adjusts his police badge pinned to his shirt. Just as he reaches out to pick up his lunchbox his phone rings in his pocket.

"Bob Winchester speaking" he says placing the phone between his ear and shoulder. He throws his lunchbox into his duffle bag and zips it shut. "Ok Mrs Burton I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

"Janet, again?" Bella comments concerned.

"It's a giant bear with horns this time. I know she's getting on a bit but this is getting ridiculous, that's three times in four days, last one was a wolf walking on two legs wearing a white coat." Bob shakes his head and gives Bella a kiss on the cheek.

"She calls me with a Bigfoot sighting and I'm having her committed" Bob jokes as he walks out the kitchen. Having finally woken up, Rosie slumps down the stairs as Bob opens the front door to leave.

"Have a good day dad."

"You too sweetie, love you."

"Morning mum" Rosie says as she walks into the kitchen and flops onto a chair, tying her long black hair into a ponytail.

"Morning honey, is Paige up yet?" Bella says placing a plate of pancakes on the table in front of Rosie.

Grabbing a fork and shovelling a piece into her mouth, Rosie nods and mumbles in acknowledgment. She pulls out her phone and starts swiping away at it. A few moments later Paige sits at the kitchen table, head focused on her phone and autonomously begins eating the pancakes in front of her.

"Morning sweetie" Bella gives her a kiss on the top of her head.

"Ready to go?" asks Rosie as she brushes the crumbs off her blue sweater and puts on her white woolen hat. Paige nods and hops to her feet, pulling her long, dark green shirt down around her waist.

"Bye mum love you" the girls call out as they grab their coats and leave the house. Heavy, grey clouds float above them as they get into Rosie's navy blue truck and drive off to school.

Pulling up to their school grounds, Rosie parks up in her usual spot and switches off the engine.

"So, today's the big day right?" Says Paige with a cheeky grin. Rosie returns with a confused look.

"Scott? He's gonna ask you to the dance next week?"

"How do you know that?" asks Rosie shocked and starting to blush.

"Please, the whole school knows, that guy can't keep his mouth shut to save his life." Paige gets out of the truck and starts typing away on her phone.

A slim girl with shoulder length dyed baby blue hair, black denim jacket and red skinny jeans, throws her arms around Paige from behind and covers her eyes.
