Chapter 2: Answers Part 1

I'm finally posting it! Here's Chapter 2. ( There's a meme at the top ) I hope you enjoy. Let's get to it.

"It was a long time ago, when the first Roar of The Elders was discovered. I won't go into too much detail about that." Rafiki started explaining. Roto, Uri and Imani listened intently.

They were up in Rafiki's tree. The tree lions were lying down on their stomachs, while Rafiki stood in front of them. "Tell us about The Lion Guard!" Imani exclaimed, excitedly.

"Well, it was formed to protect the Pridelands from enemies. It was made up of the Fiercest, Fastest, Strongest, Bravest and Keenest of Sight. A team of lions." Uri and Imani looked at him in awe. Roto rolled his eyes, before asking, "Can you please continue." Rafiki laughed a little, before continuing, "That all changed when it was your father's turn. He didn't want a bunch of random lions, he wanted his friends. Eventually, Simba agreed. Ever since, they have been respected and loved." Imani jumped up, while saying, "That's so cool! Is that how mom and dad fell in love?!" "It was actually on one of their missions." Roto looked at his sisters, saying, "Ha, I told you it was on a mission." Uri just rolled her eyes.

"Come on! We need to go talk to mom and dad!" Imani exclaimed. The trio began climbing down the tree. They reached the ground and started walking towards Priderock. "Thanks Rafiki!" Uri thanked the baboon. "No problem!" He answered, before waving at them. "What even was the point of that?" Rafiki thought to himself.

"I wonder what they're gonna tell us!" Imani said. She started an attempt at skipping, before tripping and falling face first. "We told you to stop skipping." Uri told her as she helped her up. "I know." Imani said, gloomily. "Hurry up! We're nearly there." Roto told them. They began running as Priderock came into sight.

"Well, hello there!" A voice greeted them from above. "Hey Zazu!" They said in unison. "Careful up those stairs!" Zazu warned them as he swooped in front of them. They reached Priderock and climbed up the rocks leading to the top.

"Kids? What are you doing here?" A soft voice questioned them. "Well they-. Wait, what are you doing here?" Zazu asked. "We need to talk to mom and dad." Imani told them. "About what?" "I think they should keep that a secret, Nala." Simba said as he came up behind her.

"Why?" Nala asked, confusion written all over her face. "You know." Zazu said as he moved his head a bit, towards her shoulder. Realization hit her and she made an 'oh' sound.

"What's going on here?" "Mom!" Imani exclaimed as she ran towards her mother. She gave her loving nuzzle, before turning to her siblings. Kion came out, behind Fuli. Imani gave him a wide smile, as he stood next to her.

"Mom. Dad. We need to talk to you." Roto told his parents. "I think we should go." Zazu said. Nala and Simba nodded their heads, before all three disappeared down the rock stairs.

"Well, what is it?" Fuli asked her children. "Um, well. It's about the....." Uri began. "Just tell them." Roto whispered to his sister. "We want to ask you about The Lion Guard!" Imani said, beating her sister." Fuli looked at Kion, both shocked. Fuli sighed, before Kion said, "I think it's time we told them." "Told us what?" Uri asked her parents. They looked at her.

"You're gonna be the next Lion Guard."

I don't know if that counts as a Cliff hanger or not. Welp, looks like their finally gonna tell them. Family about to be destroyed say what! They really should have told them sooner. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed!
