Two weeks. Morosely, Tin stared at the calendar on his phone. In two weeks, Can had only spoken with him three times. Was he being ghosted by him?

Tin was, officially, sexually frustrated. This had never happened before. When the little monkey did talk to him, he effectively shot down any of his attempts to find out why.

Tin was ready to call the detective and solve the problem that way. The problem was he didn't know if Tul was beginning his attack. Tin couldn't afford the distraction right now. He had a company to run, and a fight to win.

Why was he falling in love right now? Wait? What did he just admit to himself? Tin fell back into his office chair with a thud. Did he possibly LOVE the little monkey?

Tul grinned at the carefully worded article

Tul grinned at the carefully worded article. He had hired the best ghostwriter for the smear campaign. He also picked the worst of the 711 parking lot pictures to accompany the article. It was perfect.

Tin was going down! Soon, Father would have to disinherit Tin. He would see that he wasn't fit to run Medthanan Industries.

His phone rang. Tul looked at the number and answered cheerfully. "Yes, Father?"

"See me in my office, now."

Tul stared at the phone, in disbelief. Father rarely called him and had never spoken to him like that. He set down the article he had been proofreading and walked the short hallway. Knocking politely, he entered and sat in the comfortable leather chair.

"Yes, Father?"

"I know what you're up to, Tul. Either you stop the smear campaign against Tin now, or you're out of the company. Choose. Tin made his choice already. It's your turn." Father's eyes were hard.

Tul had never seen him look that way before. They were slate black, expressionless. Father knew? So he also knew that Mother was involved?

Suddenly, Father spoke, "And I wouldn't even call your associate. If you warn Mother, I will fire you."

Tul shivered. The company was all he had. He knew he was defeated, but it wasn't over. There was Phupha. "I choose the company." Father nodded a dismissal.

Tul walked out the door, back to his office and shredded the article. Then he threw his phone against the shatterproof window. The phone screen cracked. His personal assistant came running, stared and said, briefly, "I'll have you a new phone by lunch, sir."

Can sighed

Can sighed. Then sighed again. He picked up his beer and downed it with one gulp. Techno looked at Ae with a raised eyebrow. The last time either of them saw Can drink like this was when he lost the championship game in the Sophomore year.

Ae glanced at his watch. Pete made him come out tonight. He didn't want to babysit a drunk No and Can. He wanted to snuggle with Pete on one of his rare evenings off. He was in a very, very bad mood. No knew this. Can was oblivious. That was par for the course. Can was usually oblivious.

No shrugged. He was giving up. He signaled the waitress, "Bring him a pitcher of beer."

"Fuck, No! Are you carrying him home?" Ae spat.

"Look, if we don't get him totally wasted, we'll be here all night at this rate. You think you're the only one who had better things to do?" No snapped back? Working wasn't going as well as he thought. The constant going out each night was taking it's toll.

He wasn't about to admit it, but life at university was really was the best time of his short life. "We need to find out why the little monkey called us to drink tonight. Can't you see he's really upset about something?"

"Change that to someone and it's closer to the truth." Ae snorted.

"What?" Can's head popped up. "You're talking about me."

"Yes." Ae's hand flicked out and tapped him, sharply. "We are. Talk, you little shit."

"I don't know what to do, Ae! He kissed me and I kissed back!" Can wailed, grabbing the new pitcher.

Was that all? Ae started to grin, not looking at No, afraid he'd burst out laughing. To Can, this was a serious problem.

No looked surprised. He leaned into Ae and whispered, "Is he dating a guy?"

"Maybe. Let's find out." Ae whispered back, finally enjoying himself. "Can," he said louder, "Did you like kissing him?"

"Fuck yeah. That's why I'm like this. He keeps calling me. What do I do next?" Can reached out and held Ae's hand. "You're dating Pete. You can tell me what to do."

Ae gently disengaged his hand. It finally made sense why Pete sent him tonight. Can needed to hear some blunt words. "Look, Can, it's up to you to decide if you are going to fuck him or not. I can't tell you that. I already told you how to be safe."

No dropped his glass to the table, splashing whiskey everywhere. Loudly, "What the fuck, Ae! Why did you have a sex talk with Can?" Ae shot him a dirty look. He wasn't about to tell No that he was so virginal he would put white sheets to shame.

"Ae?" Can slurred his words, "It's so hot, it warms my insides. Is it supposed to feel that way?" Can's head hit the table with a thump.

"Fuck, No! You're carrying him home. And, explaining it to his Ma. I told you not to buy that last pitcher!" Ae got up and stormed out of the bar.

He got to the taxi stand and collapsed into a fit of helpless giggles. The look on No's face was priceless. He couldn't help but take advantage of his reputation as a ruthless bastard. Only for Pete, would he be a complete and total softie.

Thinking of Pete, as he flagged down a taxi, he pulled out his phone. He pressed the speed dial and waited, listening to it ring. "Pete, you owe me one. You knew that Medthanan bastard had Can tied up in knots. Why'd you send me?"

Pete laughed. "Of course I knew. I told you weeks ago. I knew you weren't listening to me, Ae. This is your punishment. So, how far along are they? Tin has it bad for Can."

Ae sighed. "Can has it just as bad. He said it's hot, warms his insides. With Can, I have no idea what the fuck that means. They could have done it or not. To be honest, the idea of that arrogant asshole fucking Can makes my skin crawl."

"He's different now, Ae. I don't know what happened, but he's not The Prince of Ice anymore. You can see the man inside. I can't read him anymore." Pete lowered his voice. "Come home. I'm tired of talking about them. I want my man."

Ae didn't bother to say goodbye. He hung up, leaned forward and said, "Hurry it up, I've got hot stuff waiting for me."

The driver laughed and said, "You're my last fare. I've got hot stuff waiting too."

Ae leaned back, satisfied, dreaming of all the ways he was going to make Pete fall apart in his arms. For some reason, when that Medthanan prick showed up, his sex life picked up again. Whatever the reason, he was going to take advantage of it. Pete would be duck walking tomorrow.
