I Remember. book 1

True colors

Six was still asleep she was breathing hard. Mono looked at her and tapped her to wake up.

Six's dream

She was in a dark room with one person and a TV. The person was pure black, it was a glitching girl in a raincoat.

" Six lets' watch something together." The being said.

Six for some reason trusted the illusion so she came toward it. The illusion turned on the TV.

" Six you need to die you're a horrible person and it would do you so much more if you just did, I'm mean you tried to kill your brother twice now." The shadow said.

The TV flickered on with Seven a bloody mess when Six tried to kill him. It was snowing that day and it left a red, white trail through the forest.

" Or the time you dropped your Lover what's his name, Mono, and left him to sit all alone for years on end."

It flickered to a different channel with Mono in a chair crying as flesh walls were coming in on him. Then it stopped, he sat there for years aging to an old tall man that had no soul. He was filled with hate and wanted to destroy her.

" How and you tried to save Raincoat, but you failed."

Then she saw Raincoat falling with her sister, Six wished that she could save them. Then all her friend's fates were playing at the same time.

" Stop It, Stop it."Six cried. running up to the screen.

" I almost forgot your father." The being said.

" Who are you." Six asked crying.

" You." Shadow Six said.

" Mono." Six woke up and cried. She hugged him and cried on his shoulder.

" Six did you have a nightmare," Mono asked hugging her back.

" Ya." Six said.

" We can talk about it later, but we need to get out of here." He said looking out of the glass jar.

Mono thought for a minute then he had a grand idea. 

" Six we need to run back and forth to knock the Jar over."

Six nodded and started to run back and forth, Mono followed. A couple of seconds later it tipped over as expected. The glass shattered and made them bleed a little, but blood doesn't stop them. They got up and started to walk to the exit room Hoping to get out of this Hell. Six looked at Mono and smiled, Mono smiled back sadly no one could see. She grabbed his hand.

" When I hold your hand, I feel safe." Six confessed.

" Well, you should cause I'll always protect you and you'll never get captured like that again."

Soon They Started to walk, then Six stepped on some shattered glass."

" Ow." Six shouted.

Mono looked at the injured girl and picked her up and cared her out of the glass.

" Mono you didn't have to." Six said.

" I don't mind my special girl," Mono said.

" You could get hurt." Six said.

" Sticks and stones will break my bones but only losing you will destroy me," Mono said.

Mono put her down Six and looked at her wound after they got out of the glass. Six lifted her tiny foot, in it was a big glass shard.

" Okay, Six this might sting a little but try not to scream," Mono warned.

"Okay," Six said.

Mono quickly pulled the shard out of her foot, a little blood spilled. Six tried to keep it in but she screamed. They heard a familiar screech. Mono and Six frantically were looking for a hiding spot, Then Six found a locker.

" Quick get in the locker Mono." Six said Mono didn't hear.

" Oy." Six called 

" Hey," Mono shouted and quickly got in the looker.

Once they got in, the teacher slammed the science door open. She started looking for them. Looking at jars, searching through cabinets. Then the last place to look was the locker, their locker. Mono's eye's lit up to static but didn't show Six, then the Teacher Ripped their locker door open. The teacher was about to kill them but Mono touched her leg. It started to disintegrate into little pixels. The Teacher was distracted by her leg, so Mono grabbed her Hand and started to run out of the classroom. 

" How did you do--." Six said but then getting cut off by Mono.

" Not now."

They ran down miles of what seemed like endless halls of insanity. Then they heard that ear-tearing screech Then dolls started Running after them. The Teacher came slithering to them, all she had left was her long neck that was still pixelating. The monsters kept running after them, after a long while of running Six and Mono a window seel. It was open, Mono and Six climbed it. The Dolls couldn't climb it but the Teacher could. Mono and Six were about to jump out of it. The Teacher slithered up and bit Mono his arm.

"Ow," Mono screamed.

He punched the human snake. It bit harder, Mono put his other hand on the and was fully pixelated. They quickly got out of there onto the city. They took a small fall but they were okay.

" What just happened." Six said.

" I'll explain later," Mono said.

It was raining in the Pale City, droplets were raining on them. It made a mist that was a little beautiful. The buildings were falling, just a couple. Then Six sneezed.

" We need to get out of here," Mono said.

After walking a little they found a little shack. It was grey and had lots of little clothes. There wasn't much about it.

" How about here." Six said.

" That looks great."

They went in it and sat down, but something caught Six's eye, a raincoat. Six got up and tried it on. First, she unbuttons it. Then she got it and put her hands in the sleeves. Buttoned it, then put on the hood.

" You look great," Mono said.

"Thanks, Six started, My best friend wore it, but she died, so I'm wearing it to honor her."

She looked at Mono he fell asleep. She went forward to him and looked at his arm, it was stitching its self back together with pixels. Six then looked at his box. She quietly took it off. Then She saw Mono's face.

Mono's face was so handsome she couldn't see his eyes but he was beautiful. He had brown dirty hair, that matched his pale skin. his mouth was closed, his nose was so small. His eyelashes were small though. She quietly put back his box and giggled. Today they got their true colors.
