And so the journey begins~

Shizen's Pov;

Tanjiro was dressing up in the Demon Slayer Uniform.

"You look good in that Tanjiro~"

"A-ah thanks Shizen!"
He was blushing madly. Ohho boy.

"Tanjiro."
"Now that you're starting out as a Demon Slayer, I'd like to explain some things to you."

"Right"

"That Demon Slayer Corps uniform you're wearing right now, it's made of a special fabric."
"It's quite breathable, yet it repels moisture and won't burn easily."
"A low-level demon's claws and fangs wouldn't be able to tear that uniform."

"It's that strong?"

"Hmhm~ Though blood demon arts would tear it apart. Not that I mind seeing you shirtless~"

"W-WHAA-"

"Upupupu"

"Also, that Nichirin Sword of yours.."
"The colour varies from owner to owner, and each one has unique characteristics."
"But since not many end up with black blades, little is known about them."
"So little, in fact, that-"

"So little is known that.. What, Urokodaki?"

"Since so little is known about them, black blades are said to be wielded by swordsmen who'll never go far"

"Technically, it's only because not much is known. If you make a documentary or become famous, and then reveal that your sword is black, you'll send a message that black coloured swordsmen will still go far."

Tanjiro smiled.
"I don't know how I'll do in the Demon Slayer Corps, but I'm going to turn Nezuko back into a no matter what."

"Ara~ Very good Tanjiro kunn~"

"Yes, you're right."
"I have faith that you're going to make that happen."

"Right."

"One more thing."
"Take this"
Urokodaki gave Tanjiro the box beside him.

"It's a box for you to carry your sister in during the day."
"Built out of an extremely light wood called 'Kirikumi Cedar'."
"I coated it with rock lacquer to harden its exterior so that it's even more durable."

"Thank you very much!"
"It's so light! It's really light, Urokodaki!"

"But of course, a sword can easily penetrate through it. So be careful Tanjiro."
Tanjiro nodded.

"Nezuko!"
"Get inside this, will you?"
"Can you do it?"

Nezuko got in the box.

"Nezuko, from now on, We're always going to be together, okay?"

"All right we'll be going now."

"Hold on Tanjiro~"
I said.

I moved closer to him and adjusted his collar a bit. We bit goodbye to Urokodaki. As we continue this journey, a lot will happen.

As we're heading there it's mostly quiet. At least for me. Then Tanjiro suddenly broke the silence.

"Nezuko, are you all right?"
"Nezuko?"

Ah, Tanjiro must be gettjng flashback from when Urokodaki guesses that Nezuko doesn't need to eat or consume human flesh.

"Nezuko..."
"You get a lot of rest."

We kept on walking until we went on top of a bridge. Tanjiro looked to the side to see fishermens and boats. I guess living secluded doesn't let him see the ocean much huh?..
