Hope POV:

"I can't believe he accused you like that. What a dick," Tatum says as we eat our lunch next to the water fountain. I chuckle and grab a grape.

"They always try to blame the broken ones," I throw the grape in my mouth and lean my head back. I'm on the ground leaning against the fountain between Sidney and Stu.

Sidney frowns at me and touches my shoulder softly. "And where were you last night hm?" Randy asks looking down at me with his head tilted. I pop a couple grapes in my mouth before looking at him.

"Getting laid something your virgin ass won't get," I grin at him as Stu laughs pointing at a blushing Randy. "What I don't get is why they asked only the guys and Hope if they liked to hunt," Tatum says eating.

Huh, so they only asked me and the guys. No wonder the girls looked confused when I told them. "Cause their bodies were gutted," Randy tells her with no filter.

"Thank you Randy," Billy sarcastically says. That boy really lacks a filter. "They didn't ask me if I like to hunt," Tatum says confused. Stu chuckles, "cause there's no way a regular girl could've killed em." I don't take offense to that.

I'm stronger than a human also I read that girls who were born like me are more stronger than a normal girl. "That's so sexists. The killer could easily be female. Basic Instinct," Tatum tells Stu in a duh tone.

I chuckle with a nod. She got him there. "That was an ice pick. Not exactly the same thing," Randy scoffs. "Yeah, Casey and Steve were completely hollowed out. And the fact is, it takes a man or half man to do something like that," Stu says patting my head.

Asshole. I held up my middle finger and took a drink of my water. "Or a man's mentality," Tatum tells him. He's wrong though, my mom easily kills people. Men and women, it doesn't matter to her.

"How do you........gut someone?" Sidney says in a sad and grossed out tone. Everybody goes quiet and looks at her. And of course my dumbass best friend decides to answer.

"You take a knife, and slit 'em from the groin to sternum," Stu tells her seriously. Billy look at me and jerks his head to Stu. I hit his leg hard making Stu groan. "Hey, it's called tact, you fuck rag," Billy says glaring at him.

"Hey Stu, didn't you used to date Casey?" Sidney asks tilting her head. He scoffs with a chuckle, "yeah for like two seconds." Randy leans next to Tatum.

"Before she dumped him for Steve," he tells her quickly making me giggle quietly. I knew she left his ass and not the other way around. Tatum's head snapped to Stu.

"I thought you dumped her for me?" Tatum asks bewildered looking at him. Uh oh. I look at Stu waiting for his response. "I did. He's full of shit," Stu reassures her glaring slightly at Randy.

"And are the police aware that you dated the victim?" Randy condescendingly asks looking at Stu with his eyebrow raised. Is he accusing my best friend? "What're you saying? That he killed her?" I ask raising an eyebrow threateningly.

"It would certainly improve his high school 'Q'," Randy states looking between Stu and me with a smirk. Tatum shakes her head, "Stu was with me last night, okay?"

She leans back against Stu who smirks. "Yeah I was," he says pleased with himself. I smirk and wiggle my eyebrows at Billy who chuckles. "Was that before or after he sliced and diced?" Randy mimics stabbing the air.

I shake my head this kid doesn't know when to shut up. "Fuck you, nutcase. Where were you last night?" Tatum exclaims then asks. "Working, thank you," Randy tells her with a sarcastic smile.
