''Mom, I know but I'm still trying to find the exit, okay!'' I said into the phone

''Okay! See you soon!'' My mom said

I ended the call and felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Andrew!

''Hey!'' He said

''Hi!'' I said back to him

''So how are you?'' Andrew asked as he sat down

''I'm good actually! I have a fiance now!'' I said cheerfully

''Oh really? So everything worked out with Y/n!'' He said with a huge smile

''No...not really. Turns out she's engaged...so...I got heartbroken but I found....someone else...She's really nice and kind. So she proposed to me and we're getting married in a few months'' I said

''Oh, I'm happy for you!'' He said

''Oh yeah...so how about yo-''

''I'm sorry, Hange, but my flight is here. I have to go. See you next year'' Andrew said heading in the direction of his plane

''Oh...okay see you!'' I yelled for him to hear me

As I sat there, wasting time on my phone, I couldn't help but wonder if Y/n is going to be there.

I don't want to see her with the guy who took me away from her, but I want to see her. I want to feel her. I just want her to be present.

But I shouldn't be thinking about her. I have a fiance who I love. She was the one who fixed me and I can't do this.
But what if Y/n gave me a chance? No, there is no way and I shouldn't be talking like this.

As much as I wouldn't want to admit it, there will be no one as good as Y/n in my eyes, but I can't understand why. Why? Why Y/n?

I looked up and saw that the gate is open for my flight.

The flight was easy as always. Not a lot of people were on the flight anyway. The flight reminded me that no matter how I try to avoid and ignore this city's existence, there still are people who are happy to return to their small homes in an even smaller city.

My mom picked me up from the airport and was clearly excited.

I walked outside the airport and saw my mom standing there, holding on to her coat.

"Oh Hange, sweaty, how I missed you!" she said taking me into a hug

"I missed you too," I said as I kissed the top of her head

"Let's go. The meal is already ready and I couldn't have you eating a cold meal " she said as she opened the trunk of the car for me to put my stuff in.

The ride home was silent with some small talk to fill in the silence.

Even though it was silence, it wasn't really awkward silence.

We were just enjoying the presence of each other without communicating.

My mom is used to the silence, so I understand that she would want me to talk to her but I really wasn't in the mood for talking.
