''Yes mom, I know it's Christmas but I'm in the middle of moving in....'' I said into the phone 

''Sweetie, it's the third Christmas without you...I want to see you. And your father does too'' My mom said into the phone. 

''I miss you too, but I don't believe he misses me at all.... let's be honest, he hates my guts, and it's double-sided'' I said as I carried the box into my new bedroom 

''He doesn't hate you, Hange. He just doesn't understand how you can like your own gender. He's old minded, honey'' 

''Mom, don't lie to me. Besides, I just brought an apartment, a plane ticket would definitely hurt my pocket'' I said as I sat down onto the ground

''About that, I brought you a ticket already. You will be arriving exactly at Christmas evening'' My mom said into the phone

''Mom-'' I said into the phone with a sigh 

''No, I'm sick of not seeing you, besides, you didn't even visit us when you graduated in May, I will not let my daughter celebrate Christmas alone'' My mom said in a commanding voice

''Mom, I will not be alone. Levi is going to celebrate with me like every other year'' I said

''Don't lie, Hange. Levi and Erwin are both out of town till January'' My mom said 

''There is no way for me to get out of this, is there?'' I asked

''Unfortunately for you, no'' My mom said

''I have to go now, mom'' I said as I looked out of the window

''Goodbye, Honey. Don't forget your plane is in two days. I will send you the ticket via email'' My mom said into the phone

I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye when my mom had already ended the call. I sighed and laid back on to the ground. 

'I don't want to go back' 

The hometown reminded me of bad times and.....of her. I still haven't had the guts to text her or call her even after all of this time. I know if I would call, she would pick up, but..what would I say?

I should've confessed to her a long time ago. 

I wonder what it would be like? 

I wonder if we would've kissed? I wonder if she would be my girlfriend or if she would still try to deny it. 

If she would've been mine, I would've already put a ring on that finger. Def-

Then my phone cut me off of my little daydream. I looked at my phone screen and saw that shorty aka Levi was calling me.

''Hello?'' I asked in the phone 

''I will be at our cafe In 10 minutes. I need your help'' He said as he hung up

I let out a groan and got up, taking my keys and heading out to the small coffee shop close to my home.

➤ At the coffee shop ➤

''Well I'm fucked, Hange. '' Levi said as he took a sip from his tea 

''This tea is shit. But that's all. You can go now'' He said as he put the cup down and looked at me

''Hello, Hangee?'' Levi said as he wawed his hand in front of my eyes 

''Yes, I'm listening'' I answered 

''I can tell you're lying, Hange'' Levi said

''What's with you today? You're usually a pain in the ass but today you're even a bigger pain because you aren't talking'' Levi said 

''My mom called today'' I said

''Okay and?'' Levi asked 

''She brought me a plane ticket to go back home and I don't want to. The plane is in two days'' I said as I took a sip from my black coffee

''Okay, I know, I understand why, but it could be a good thing. First off, you would meet  your mom after almost four years and there is a possibility that Y/n will be there and you will get to spend Christmas with the love of your life'' Levi said 

And then it hit me. It hit me like a train going 100000 miles per hour. Looking at Y/n's Instagram pictures, she always went home to her mom so she might be there

''Yeah I guess''  I said back at Levi getting my bag ready to leave 

Then Levi grabbed me by my wrist, which caused me to stop me in my tracks. I turned my head to where the short male was sitting at 

''But promise me, you will confess to her, Hange'' Levi said with a serious expression 

''I promise''
