It was lunchtime. I was so excited for toco day! I slid through the lunch line, then sat by my BGFF or 'best guy friend forever', Theodore. He makes this really corny joke about how gross the school corn is, and I lock eyes with him. His eyes are a beautiful mix between blue and green. And that's when I knew that he really meant something much more than my best friend.... I actually 'like' him!

"........ I know it's kind of corny but ever since I got gut wrenching butterflies in my poor tummy whenever you walk into a room. I'm also why you've never had a girlfriend." I had just handed Theo my whole heart onto a platter. I probably look like a dooface, but I don't care. "You really think all of that?!?!?" He says, smiling wider than he ever has around me. "Every single word. Theo, I love you. I always have and I always will." When he doesn't say anything I kind of tear up, because I think that I'm crazier about him than he is about me, but then he grabs my hand, and I almost barf, I'm so nervous (and surprised). "Hannah." He says reassuringly. "love you too."
