**Jake's POV**

I walked inside my house feeling a number of emotions. I just couldn't stop thinking about Clara. She was just beautiful and her personality was so different. Despite her scars and her past, she knew how to have a good laugh and her social awkwardness was just so cute. I needed someone like that in my life and Clara was that someone I needed. I walked up to my room and sat on my bed letting all my emotions sink in. After a few minutes, I heard a car start. I assumed it was my dad going out somewhere, but he was downstairs cooking. I looked out and saw a little head with straight black hair and a jacket. It was Clara. She was starting up her dad's car and pulling out of her driveway. I started getting worried. She was only 15. Did she even know how to drive? Then, I couldn't take the suspicion any longer. I grabbed my coat and walked in the living room to get my shoes. I had a bad feeling that Clara was up to something dangerous and needed my help.

"Where are you going?" my father walked in watching me get my shoes on.

"Out. Someone needs my help." I grabbed my own car keys and started heading out quickly. I had only gotten my license a few months ago and never drove out in this kind of weather before, but I was worried about Clara and had to make sure she wasn't going to get hurt.

"Ok then. Don't be home too late." my father usually never cared about what I did out of the house. As long as I didn't come home really late and didn't kill anyone, he didn't give a shit about what I did.

"I won't." I rushed out the door and quickly started my car. Clara wasn't that far so I knew to follow her red car to wherever she was going. Hopefully she wouldn't think I was stalking her or something. I was just really worried and had a bad feeling she was up to something dangerous. She was only 15 jacking her dad's car and driving god knows where. Something had to be up. And it was probably pretty serious.

**Clara's POV**

At first, I didn't know where the fuck I was going. Gabby was somewhere back in my old town which wasn't that big but still, it would probably take a while before I found her anywhere. I drove around for about 2 hours not knowing where the fuck I was going, but hoping I'd find Gabby's black mini van around somewhere. I also had to be careful though. I had to make sure I wasn't gonna get caught by the police. My father would be furious if he found out that I jacked his car and drove it out back to our hometown in probably the biggest snow storm of the year. So I drove as careful as I could making sure I went the speed limit and didn't hit any cars or more importantly, pedestrians. I finally saw from a distance a black minivan collided with a white truck. When I got closer, I saw about 10 police cars and ambulances. All of them pulling out bloody bodies from the vehicles and taking photographs of the accident. I heard the police officers talking and saw no sign of Gabby. I started feeling tears in my eyes. I couldn't bare to see what my life would be like without Gabby. She was the only one who still stood by my side when my dad left us for 3 months. I couldn't lose her.

"We found this by the black vehicle, but I don't think it was either of the driver's." I heard one of the officers say. I looked at the evidence, and I knew exactly what it was. It was Gabby's phone. It was her green iPhone 5c with a Black Veil Brides phone case. The one I bought for her birthday last year. I started listening closer to what the officers had to say.

"We believe her name is Gabby after looking at a few texts. The last phone call she made was to someone named Clara a few minutes after the accident."

"Is there anyway we can get in touch with her again? This is serious."

"I'm right here." I piped in. Why did they need me and why was it serious? I felt my stomach twist and turn as I came to the officers. They didn't even bother asking me where I came from. I didn't care. I had to know everything that was going on.
