Lucas

Ciara's POV:

I woke up on the first day of school, felling terrible. I was starting senior year, which means more stress, exams, even more homework than last year and stuffs like that.

I live alone in my apartment. My family is complicated, so this why I want to stay away from them. My dad is dead, my mom married to some guy aka my step dad. He hates me BTW. I have a brother but he is in Chile right now, I have a step-sister that I don't like and many more reasons why I live alone I general.

I basically hate  my family except my brother and my father.
My dad was nice and caring, i will always love him because he show me the true side of things and how to make nice memories. He died when I was 12 and after that I have never felt true happiness.
My brother was the older brother I will always admire and adore. He was  like my dad. Kind and Sweet. He went to Chile when I was 10...

Anyways enough of my family problems, I should go to school if I don't wanna be late.
I put on my casual school outfit :

And left for school.
After 10 minutes I was there ready to start the new year (even that I didn't want to)

"Ciaraaa" I heard my best friend's voice
"What got you smiling like that?" I asked. Casey aka my best friend was in bad mood most of the time so it was suprising to see her happy.

"You don't know?! There is a new boy in our school and he is sooo cute" Casey said while smiling.

"And?" that was all I said. I was confused because Casey already has a boyfriend but it seems like she likes the new guy.

"Don't you think it's your time to get a boy?" When she said that she left me in shock. Me?! Dating someone?! That was just a unreachable thought. I don't usually date because no one actually wanna date me so I just decided to be a loner. The only person I speak to was Casey.

" I don't date and you know that" was everything I was able to say before the bell rings.

I walk into class to see that no one has  changed. The mean girls were still mean, the jocks were still jocks, the goth guys were still goth. The only thing that has changed was the desk formation so I went to find an empty desk. (If you ask why I don't sit with Casey, it's because that  we are in different classes.)

I sit down on the first empty desk I found, when I heard my teacher's voice.

"Class, let me introduce you to your new classmate" she made a little pause"Lucas Rodríguez "was the last thing I heard before a very attractive guy walked in.

He was so f*cking handsome. He had dark curly short hair, dark green eyes and very nice body. His tattoos were visible, they were small but nice. He seems like a bad boy by the clothes he was wearing :

"You can sit next to Ciara" my teacher said calm. At that moment I was surprised. The whole class were staring at him when he sit next to me. The girls were probably jealous because he was really hot.

"I am Lucas" I heard him said when he sat next to me. I could hear his Spanish accent.

"Ciara" Was all I respond while staring at him.
The whole class we were talking. I learn a lot about his personality. He seems cold and careless on first look but he was funny and calm.

"Wanna go grab a coffee" Lucas asked me when we finished school. This was the first invite  I got from someone other than Casey

"Yea" I heard my nervous voice"That would be great"
