Detention

Ciara's POV :

The other day, after all of my classes I went to detention while thinking how I am going to spend 4 boring hours listening to why I shouldn't react like that. (You probably know what I am talking about, when yesterday I tried to protect myself and what... Detention)

I enter the detention room with a deep breath,looking at the people in the room. One guy with long dark hair, a goth girl with short hair, some other hippies and... Lucas!?

"Lucas!?" I said while wondering what is he doing here. I mean he was a bad boy but yea. "What are you doing in here"

"Ciara!?" he said "I could ask you the same question"

Everyone in the room was looking at us when the teacher came in

"Oh, based on what I have heard you two know each other" he said "That's good because we are doing a project today. You can work in a group of two or three people"

"So why are you here... In detention" I asked Lucas while going to sit next to him

"Well, I might or might not have started a fight..." he said "I mean this freak Jacob and his lil gang were bullying a little child. The kid was like 3rd grade?! So I challenged Jacob and he grabbed me, but after that I punched him andddd this is why I am here" I admired Lucas. He was brave and if he is determined to do something, he is not going to stop until he do it.

"It's very brave of you, how you protect that child" I said. I hated it when someone attacks the innocent.

"And you are here because? " Lucas said, interrupting my thoughts

"I am here, because I spoke the truth" I said with anger tone

"You mean that you tell a child that Santa is not real" Lucas said while laughing. This was the second time I heard him laughing and I like that.

"Haha, how funny." I said with a sarcastic tone " At drama class Liza and the other mean girls were attacking me (with words) and i just decided to defend myself and speak the truth. But at this moment Mr. Cross came and this b*tch Liza fake cryed at him that I have attacked her... So this is w-" I was interrupted by the teacher

" Miss Díaz and Mr. Rodríguez, no talking in class! " he said

" OK, we are sorry" I said "So anyways" I continued" This is why I am here"

"That sucks." Lucas said
After he said that, we started working on the project.

"OK, so the 4 hours are over, you are free. See you next time" Our detention teacher said with a little smile on his face

"Hope there is no next time." I said with even a bigger smile on my face

The teacher just stared at me while me and Lucas were leaving.

"Well the project was fun" Lucas said when we left the school.

"We didn't even finished the project Lucas" I said with a smirk on my face

"Anyways see you tomorrow Díaz" Lucas said after a few minutes

10 minutes later, after I got home I was exited because I just find out that my favorite serial has a new season.
I was about to watch it when I heard a knock on my door.

"I'm coming" I screamed while going to open the door

When I opened the door, I saw Casey crying.

"Girl, what's wrong?" I asked trying to comfort her

"Yo-you won't be-belive what happened." she said trying to hold her tears "Ryan" she stopped for a moment "He cheated on me with you won't belive who"

This motherf*cker cheated on her?! I can't believe it

"How dare he?! With who did he cheated you on?" I ask with a calm tone

"With... Alice" she said. I could not belive this

"Alice?!" I said hoping this is not true
Alice is my step-sister that I hate. "What is she doing in town? How did she know about Ryan?"

"Ryan told me that they have been chatting for months, which means he has been cheating on me for MONTHS" She have finally realiesed all of her anger. I understand her. She has been crying because of anger, not because of sadness

"It's OK sis, if he is going to cheat on you with this b*tch Alice then he is not for you" I tried my best to comfort her.

After a few hours Casey leaved heartbroken. I decided to chat with Lucas about it

I know Lucas didn't care about this, but I still wanted to tell him

After chatting with Lucas for a while I decided to start watching the new season of my fav serial and get my mind out of this bullshit... At least for now. I knew that Alice is not there just for a boy. I swear I will find out why is she here and I hope I find out fast..
