Its been a couple of weeks, Brad and Jen continued to see each other in the comfort of their own homes. The time spent together has brought them back to the 90s when they first dated and they're enjoying every bit of it.
Brad calls Jen on face time.
Jen: Good morning!
Brad: Morning, what are you upto?
Jen: reviewing scripts for the morning show, you?
Brad: At the office, I have to run some approvals on upcoming projects.
Jen: ouu exciting.
Brad: are you going to the CAA Christmas event this weekend?
Jen: ughh, right I forgot. Its marked on my calendar but i don't think i'm going. There's just so much going on with work and then the holidays.
Brad: Jen, you should come. I'm going.
Jen Chuckles
Jen: so what if you're going? It's not like we're gonna attend together.
Brad: hahahaha no, but you always make
it fun. Plus, I think it'll be a nice to way to kick start the holidays.
Jen: hmm...I'll think about it.
Brad: hmm okay thanks Jennifer.
At the CAA Event - Brad is already at the event. Jen walks in with her friends and manager. Brad notices Jen but shes too busy greeting everyone.
Jen: Omg hi honey! I haven't seen you in a long time.
Nicole: I know, I missed you. You look stunning in that dress.
Jen finally makes her way over to Brad's table where George Clooney, Cate Blanchett and a few others are seated. George and Jen go in for a hug.
Jen: Hey Clooney.
George: Hi Jen Jen. Wow, you look gorgeous!
Jen makes eye contact with Brad as she hugs George. She suddenly feels butterflies in her stomach as this is the first time they're both out in public since they're time together. Keeping it cool she goes in to hug Brad.
Jen: Hi Pitt.
Brad: Hey Aniston
Brad takes in a whiff of Jen's scent and holds onto her as tight as possible. Jen pulls away and continues a conversation with Cate Blanchett. Brad is suddenly distracted, the room becomes muffled in the background and Jen is the only person he pays attention to in the group.
Jen can feel Brad's eyes on her keeping her cool. She pulls out her phone very subtly and texts Brad.
Jen: quit starring at me Pitt.
Brad feels his phone vibrating in his pocket. He pulls his phone out and chuckles.
George: Ohh who texted you bud, you're smiling chin to chin.
