Glancing over at the clock on the wall Yoongi saw that it was only 12pm on Thursday. The morning seemed to drag on forever for Yoongi. He had trouble sleeping last night because he got a call before he fell asleep from Jin's assistant Ken, letting him know that Jimin's performance was canceled so they will be moving his comeback sooner than expected. So here Yoongi was, having sat at his desk for the past 5 hours trying to find a beat or melody that would fit the young performer's energy and aesthetic. He even came in early to get a head start but got nothing done. He kept getting small ideas but they just wouldn't work all together and it was slowly driving him insane. Secretly Yoongi wished that he had someone he could work with but no one he already met seemed to fit the criteria he needed.

1pm came around and there was a knock on Yoongi's door. Normally he would bark at them to or go away, being too involved in work to actually get up and answer it, but today he was too frustrated and maybe stepping back for a minute to answer the door could be beneficial in keeping his sanity. Luckily for Yoongi, on the other side of the door stood his two best friends but also the people who were causing him the most stress, Jimin and Hoseok.

"Yoongi! We were told that my comeback is scheduled earlier than originally planned! After dance practice, Jin told us to bring you some lunch since you're probably starving and overworking yourself to meet deadlines." Jimin said with a heartfelt smile that made Yoongi, and everyone else envy how lucky Hoseok was to have already found his soulmate.

"Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. You're welcome to come in and sit for a bit. Actually get in here, I've been struggling writing all day and could use a break." Yoongi heaved a hefty sigh, stepping aside to let the two always energetic boys in his studio before closing the door behind them.

"Well it's good that you are inviting us in for once, Yoongi, otherwise we would've forced our way in since our lunch is here too." Hoseok said with a blinding smile, setting the bag on the small coffee table and taking a seat on the couch. "Maybe you should take up Jin's offer and meet his friend who makes music on the side. The trainees are low-key obsessed with this one artist on SoundCloud and even I think they are a great producer with a wide variety of music. Either way it could be good for you to get another person's perspective on things... beside me. You know I would gladly help but I'm so caught up in everything else for the comeback and upcoming release of Jimin's album." Hoseok suggested, per Jin's request, to help relieve some of Yoongi's stress.

"With the way things are looking, I'm going to have too. I already told Jin I would be leaving early today to sort out a few family ordeals so I'll think about it and reach out to him for help if I can't get anything started by the end of this week." Yoongi sighed again, sinking back into the chair he was sitting in.

"Speaking of, how are your parents these days? Any better than before? Or same old, same old?" Jimin carefully asked, knowing it was a very sensitive topic for Yoongi. Jimin was the first person Yoongi told about his parents. Jimin had shared his own struggles causing Yoongi to break and share his own. Of course if Jimin knew, Hoseok would know too. With Hoseok and Yoongi being friends from college, he was bound to find out too.

"They aren't the same but they definitely aren't any better. They refuse to reject each other because it will lead to their death but they can't seem to compromise on anything. It's just fight after fight and when they are done fighting they turn towards me, blaming it on me. I know I should just leave but they will only continue to bother me for money to pay their bills. Until I know that I can be financially secure with my soulmate, there is no leaving. It's just frustrating and it hurts so much. They are my parents after all and I feel like I owe so much to them, but I can't do this for the rest of my life, it's just all so confusing. I can't wait to leave." Yoongi ranted.

"Yeah, that's definitely a lot to deal with. Just don't forget you always have Hoseok and I and our offer for you to live with us until you find your soulmate is always available too." Jimin reassured, giving Yoongi a side hug to provide some sort of comfort to the eldest of the three.

"Have you started searching for your soulmate Yoongi? Whoever they may be might be able to help you too. To at least help you think with a clear head or protect you when they get violent, I know they are like that when they are drunk after a fight, so don't even try to tell me they aren't." Hoseok pitched in.

"I guess I should start looking, but would they want me in this state? I want nothing but the best for them and I don't think right now would be a good time to get involved with all that stuff." Yoongi responded back, his phone buzzing right after he finished his statement.

Once again, Yoongi let out another very long sigh after reading the texts from his parents. They were telling him to buy more alcohol and to make sure that he pays off their electrical bill and mortgage before they get in trouble for being late.

"I've got to head out and deal with this, Jin already knows I'm leaving early, so I'll see you guys later, thanks again for the food." Yoongi finally said after a minute, beginning to clean up his things and pack his bag to head home.

Jimin and Hoseok took that as their cue to leave so they stood up and bid Yoongi farewell for the day, both of them giving him an 'unwanted' hug before exiting his studio.

"Alright, let's hope this goes better than I think it will be." Yoongi muttered under his breath, stepping outside of his studio and making sure to lock the door behind him before heading to his house.
