Just over a year had passed since Namjoon and Yoongi had gotten together. Their soulmate bond was stronger than ever, the two just simply couldn't get enough of each other. Despite wanting to take things slow, Yoongi ended up asking Namjoon to marry him and move out of the small apartment and into a house. Jimin and Hoseok had gotten married a few months after Namjoon and Yoongi got together so they didn't see it as rushing things at all.

Namjoon's parents met Yoongi and absolutely fell in love with him. They really couldn't say anything except how they were the perfect match. After they found out about Yoongi's past with his own parents, they vowed to make sure to treat them like their own son, even more so than they already were going to.

Yoongi and Namjoon's marriage was short but sweet. They didn't do anything too grand or big, but they did have a small celebration at Namjoon's parents house and invited a handful of their work friends to make it a little less lonely. Jimin and Hoseok were obviously the life of the party since they were not only the most outgoing of the group but also they were dancers so they made sure to keep the energy up, not that Yoongi nor Namjoon minded, it was still a lot of fun regardless.

About a month after the wedding, the newly-wed couple settled into their new house, but they soon began to feel like something was missing. Yoongi's job alone was able to provide for the two but Namjoon still wanted to work since he too also very much enjoyed his job. Yoongi began getting home from work earlier since he knew that Namjoon would be done at 5pm from the library. Instead of working 9am to 11pm, he now worked 9am to 5:30pm, making sure to be home by 6pm unless it was the week leading up to the deadline and he would lose track of time. Luckily for him, Namjoon wouldn't let the elder stay past 10pm by himself. Namjoon would either show up after his job at the library to help or simply just to sit next to him while he worked, silently letting him know that he wasn't alone and he had the right support around him. As for Namjoon, he still worked at the library, but he didn't work as often since they were more financially well off. He did still go in on Saturday's to host the children's event from noon to 3pm but he also took half-days on Fridays, only working the full day if someone called ahead of time requesting for him to help them on their research. It was nice for both of them knowing that they no longer had to scrape for money.

Jimin and Hoseok never forgot Namjoon's mention about adopting kids so the couple decided to invite Namjoon and Yoongi over for dinner at their house to talk about it, which the pair happily agreed, since Yoongi has also been thinking about it as well secretly.

At first it was a strange topic to bring up since none of them had really talked about adopting kids since that one day before Yoongi and Namjoon got together. Surprisingly, it was Yoongi who spoke first.

"Joonie, I think we should adopt." Yoongi blurted, not realizing he had just voiced his thoughts during the middle of dinner, shocking everyone. His face turned red after realizing what he just did.

"That's really not a bad idea, I've kinda been thinking the same thing." Namjoon replied back with a dimpled grin, saving Yoongi from the embarrassment.

"I just want to be able to give a child the childhood that I never had. A safe place where they can grow and be themselves. A place that they can always go to because it is warm and safe. Let's do it Joonie, please, I really want to." Yoongi begged, practically telling Namjoon he wants it to happen as soon as possible.

"Okay baby we will do it then." Namjoon chuckled at how cute his husband was.

"Minnie, we should do the same, I wouldn't mind having another person in this house, it gets lonsome sometimes especially when you are traveling overseas." Hoseok pouted.

"I wouldn't mind that actually, I kinda want to start a family too. It would be nice to help a child who is in need of a loving family." Jimin replied back smiling dreamily.

"How about I contact Jungkook and Taehyung from the orphanage that brings kids to my children's event at the library and they can help us get all the legal stuff and find a child that would fit our households?" Namjoon suggested, getting a unanimous agreement from everyone.

Namjoon then texted Jungkook about it, and Jungkook replied that they were free all day Sunday for a meetup to discuss it.
