How Does Love Feel?

Chapter 6:

 ( After everyone finished their personal hygiene's and nonsense, they met once again downstairs ready to eat breakfast. )

  ( Jaylin's POV )

 You guys probably noticed how I kept quiet while they were discussing about that party up in Sysy's room. Can you guess? Exactly! Sysy blew off our plan to go out today. She didn't even think about what she had to do. She decided to go to the party instead. She didn't even look at me either. I'm surprised she didn't notice me not speaking. The reason why I asked her to hit the mall up with me is because I was finally gonna get the chance to ask her to be my girlfriend. No interruptions. Just the thought of making Sysy officially mines makes me smile. She's an amazing girl. Like, what a man gotta do? I noticed that everyone was grabbing their plates for food. 

 Ty: So, what y'all bay bay kids up to today?

 Keisha: We going to check this party out later on. I heard that it's gonna be live down there.

 Lamar: Yeah. Knowing me, I'm just going down there to get them digits from some bitches. Aye. that rhymed! Swag.

 Keisha: 1. You're lame. 2. Who says 'Swag' anymore? 3. Who would want a lame, dusty looking mother fucker like you?

 Ty: Damn, that's that hurt.

 Lamar: Man! Ain't nobody stunting Keisha ugly behind anyways. She know damn well that if I can't get no females; then she damn sho' can't get her some niggas. Ain't that's right Ty? ( Sticks hand out for some dap. )

 Ty: Aha ! ( Rejects dap. ) No. 

 Lamar: Oh, you wrong.

 ( Sysy, Keisha, and Essence laughs. )

 Ty: Back to this party, what time it start? I might be sliding through to see what's up.

 Keisha: 3:00.

 Ty: iight. All y'all dipping?

 Everybody but Me: Hell yeah .. You already know.

Ty: What about you bro? You ain't say nothing.

 Me: Oh. Nah. I got plans..

 Lamar: What you got for today?

Me: You know, hitting up the mall like I said I was before y'all spoke about the party. It was supposed to be me and a friend of mines .. ( Looks at Sysy. )

 Sysy: Oh my gosh. Jay- ( Gco )

 Me: It's cool. I can always go myself. 

 Sysy: I'm sorry. I- ( Gco )

Me: -Forgot? Yeah, I know. I'm out. ( I threw up the deuces and walked out the front door, jumped in my Charger, and made my way home. Thinking. )

 ( Sysy's POV )

  Whoa. I feel terrible. How could I forget that I had a day with Jaylin?! The guy I liked, alot. What should I do?

 Ty: Um? What just happened?

 Me: Me and Jay were supposed to go to the mall and out for ice-cream, but my fast ass let the party get to me, and forgot about our plans. And now he's upset.  

 Essence: Dang Symone. That's messed up.

 Keisha: Right? He's probably depressed knowing that the girl he likes very much blew him off for some party. Hell, If I was Jay, I would slap the hell out of Symone.

 Me: Okay Keisha, that's not helping.

 Keisha: Oh, my bad. 

 Lamar: It's alright Sysy. You don't have to be feeling bad about that. There is always other days you can go out to the mall. But for now, you can come to the party. I'll be with you the entire time, if you like. ( Winks and smiles. )

 Me: I don't know....

 Lamar: But you should. I mean, think about it. You and Jaylin aren't even dating. There is no reason for you to be upset over a guy that's not even your boyfriend. If he was, then that would be a different story.

 Keisha: Lamar, shut the hell up! She likes him too! ( Mumbles: Desperate ass. )

 Lamar: Oh, You do? ( He looks into my eyes. )

 Me: Well, I'm not gonna lie. Of course I do. For years now.

 Lamar: Oh yeah. ( Looks down on the tile floor. )

 Ty: Hmm. I'm sensing something here.

 Me: Ty, what should I do?

 Ty: Well, the only thing I can tell you is to do what you think is right. 1.) Spend the day with Jay, not to mention your crush that you promised you would? You never know, something unexpecting might happen. Besides, there will always be upcoming Summer parties you can attend. Or 2.) Go to the party with your friends instead. Not to mention that Jaylin, your crush, will not be there because of you.

 Lamar: ( Looks at me. ) Come on Sysy. Everybody's gonna be there. It's gon' be off the chain. You love to party.

 Me: ( Thinking.. thinking.. )  I guess Jaylin wouldn't mind me starting my Summer off with a bang. ( Smiles. )
