(Authors Note: I noticed a few errors in my last chapter but I'll fix them when I get the chance.)
After the little session we had, I took his hand and guided him over to the couch. With my legs crossed on his lap, we started having random conversations.
Jay: Tell me why we still haven't done anything during this Summer yet.
Me: I can't man, I guess God is showing us a sign.
Jay: That says what?
Me: We're lame and have no friends so we might as well just chill and wait for the right time.
Jay: (Chuckles) Some hurtful sign that is. What are your goals for this Summer anyways?
Me: Nothing really. I just don't wanna be involved in drama, you know? It's a headache and ain't nobody got time for that. (Rolls eyes)
Jay: Same shit here.
It stays quiet for a minute. As if both of them were thinking of something.
Jay: Let's get high.
Me: What? No!
Jay: Why not? It'll be fun.
Me: What's so fun about damaging your lungs and having slow thinking and long-lasting, negative impact on your developing brain? Count me out.
Jay: ...I just want to feel groovey.
Me: (Removes legs from his lap) Go ahead and fuck ya self up. (Rolls eyes and crosses arms)
Jay: Baby, it's not as bad as you think it is. If you only do it once, it won't effect you in any bad type of way.
Me: Oh, I know that. What if I do it once but then I start to get addicted?
Jay: (Chuckles) You won't get addicted, trust me.
He grabbed my hand and started to lead me to the patio, but the doorbell rang.
Jay: (Groans) Whoever that is, please send them away. I only have a blunt for two.
Me: Just go sit outside, I'll be back there.
While I walked to the front door, I shouted, "WHO ISSS ITTTT?!"
??: Ya mama.
I rolled my eyes and opened the door to find my girls standing there.
Me: Wassup bitches?
Keisha: We just coolin' it! (Walks in with Essence without any invitation)
Me: Oh sure, y'all can come in.
Essence: Did you forget this was our house too?
Me: How could I ever? Y'all practically do whatever y'all please once you enter.
Essence: Ehh. You love us anyways.
Me: I said that? When? Was I drunk?
Essence: Fuck you.
The three of us shared a laugh while I led them to the patio where we found Jay lining up his green.
Keisha: (Deep Voice) Ayo, Smokeeey!
Jay: (Looks up) Oh. You two are here. Why am I not surprised?
Keisha: See. I'm not even gone reply to yo crackhead ass.
Jay: Since when did you ever see me do crack?
Keisha: I didn't say you did. Your looks says it all.
