Chapter 10:

( Jay's POV ) Feeling every spec of hot water dripping on me was causing me not to get out the shower. Then I realized that I was supposed to be getting ready to go to the movies. I turned the water off, stepping out, drying off, and walked out the bathroom into my closet. What to wear? What to wear? I could've sworn I stood there for about 5 minutes. Got it.

I sprayed Sysy's favorite cologne; Polo, on me, grabbed my keys, looked at my fine self one more time in the mirror, then walked out driving to Sysy's house.

( Sysy's POV ) I finished rubbing Jay's favorite lotion on my arms, looked at my pretty self in the mirror, grabbed my phone and house keys, then walked downstairs to meet up with Ty and Essence.

Ty: Why do it take you females so long to get dressed?

Me: Because beauty takes time. ( smiles )

Ty: ( Looks closely at Sysy's face. ) Nah. I don't see it.

Me: Haha. Real funny. Coming from the guy that claims he's sexy BUT received rejections from plenty females.

Essence: ( Starts laughing )

Ty: ( Looks at her )

Essence: ( Stops Laughing and Fake coughs. )

Ty: They wasn't even cute anyways..

Me: Whatever.

Beep! Beep!

We entered the mall hand and hand, buying our tickets, then walking over to the snack stand.

Cashier: Hi, I'm Candy. What can I get for you tonight?

Jay: Can we get a large bucket of popcorn with extra butter, twelve boneless barbecue wings, one pack of strawberry twizzlers, and two medium Hi-C drinks?

Candy: Yes, you can. That'll be $21.32.

Me: ( starts to get wallet out but Jay stops her. )

Jay: What you doing?

Me: Getting the money to pay?

Jay: I got it. ( Pulls out a stack folded in a rubber band and hands Candy a $50 bill.) Keep the change.

Candy: Thanks and here you go. ( Slides everything over. )

They step to the side so Ty and Essence can order.

Me: Jay, you didn't have to do that. We could've went half and half. I had money.

Jay: Babe, as long as you're with me, no money should be coming out of your pocket.

Me: ( Stands on tippy toes and kisses him softly but sweetly. ) You're so sweet and generous.

Jay: Only for you. ( Smiles. )

~ 3 hours later, in the car on their way to Sysy's house

Ty: That movie was hard as hell!

Jay: I know right?! You remember the part when he found the tracking device in the box?

Ty: They did that part slick! Remember the part when the Kartels was shooting at him?

Jay: Hell yeah, son!

Essence: Y'all lame as hell.

Me: I'm saying. Y'all sound like straight up middle schoolers.

Ty: Baby? Sysy?

Both: Yeah?

Ty: Stop hating and kick rocks.

Me: Boy, please. ( Rolls eyes. )

( Jay's POV, Sysy's room ) I was laying down on the bed waiting until she come out the bathroom since she's changing. While waiting, I was thinking.... this bed so damn comfortable! I kicked off my shoes, closing my eyes for a minute. Suddenly, something was blocking the light which made it not so bright anymore. The hell? I opened my eyes to see Sysy right in my face staring down at me.

Me: ( Jumps. ) Oh shit!!

Sysy: ( Laughing hard. )

Me: Nothing funny. You almost gave me a heart attack. ( Holds hand over chest. ) I thought you was Jesus telling me my time was over.

Sysy: ( Laughs even harder. )

Me: ( Looks at her. ) You done?

Sysy: Yeah. Whew! Damn, it's already 10:30.

Me: ( Sits up. ) Well, I should be on my way.

Sysy: ( Gently pushes him back down onto the bed. ) Nooo, please stay the night.

Me: Bae, I slept over two nights ago.

Sysy: ( Pokes lip out ) Please?

Me: I wish you wasn't cute enough for me not to say no. Fine.

Sysy: Yay! Sleepover! Take off your clothes.

Me: Why? You tryna rape me?! Oh hell-

Sysy: No! ( Giggles. ) I want you to be more comfortable. Just the shirt and jeans.

Me: Fine.

She walked over to switch the lights off then gets back in bed. Jay then pulls her on top of him and wraps his arms securely around her waist. She looks up at him, planting her lips softly on his. She runs her fingers through his short curls while he travel his hands on her ass, gripping it, making her moan a little. Their lips sync together forgetting all about going to sleep.

She finally pulls away gasping for air, same for Jay. She wipes the corner of their mouths.

Sysy: Goodnight hun.

Me: Goodnight bae.

She pecks his lips once more before resting her head on his firm chest. The couple fell into a nice but deep sleep in each other arms.
