You and JJ have been best friends for years, you have always had a crush on him but you never though he felt the same way about you.

"Hey Y/N" JJ says as you both walk together to your next class in school.

"Hey J! John B's later?" You ask.

"Yep, I'll drive you. Come to my car after school" he says as you both walk into the classroom.

You nod your head and sit in your desk that's next to him.

JJ always teases you in class.

He'll throw paper airplanes that he made out of his work at you, poke pencils at you, make funny faces so you laugh, and pull his phone out and take pictures of you.

JJ makes a funny face at you and the both of you start dying laughing.

"Y/L/N and Maybank, what are you laughing at?" The teacher says, the whole class looks back at you guys.

"Nothing sir it's cool go back to whatever your saying" JJ says.

"Do you need me to separate you guys?" He asks.

"No sir, we are sorry it won't happen again." You blurt out knowing JJ will say something stupid.

"It happens one more time you are moving." The teacher says.

You both nod and look over at each other resisting the urge to laugh even harder.

After school you walk over to JJ's car and open the door.

He is hiding in the back seat getting ready to scare you.

You put your seatbelt on and "AHHHHHH" JJ yells from the backseat.

"HOLY FUCKING SHIT" you yell for the whole school parking lot to hear.

He is laughing his ass off and your still trying to get your breathing back to normal.

He climbs into the front seat.

"I'm gonna get you back" you say looking at him in the eyes.

"Mhm" he says as he turns the car on and starts driving.

The drive is pretty long.

"So, I was thinking. You, me, and a date." JJ says with his eyes on the road.

Your eyes widen.

"Really?" You ask smiling.

"Yeah, I mean you obviously like me cmon. And I like you so" he says laughing.

"Ok, let's go on a date, right now?" You ask.

"Why not, what do you wanna do?" He asks.

"Let's get food, then sneak somewhere and eat it." You say smiling.

"Deal, we can go to the private kook beach!" He says smiling.

You smile and he starts driving.

After you get the food, you arrive to the beach and sneak in over the gate that you need a code for.

You guys sit in a small corner that nobody will see you in.

"So, you like me?" You ask.

"Uh yea, I've liked you ever since I met you Y/N." He says smiling and looking over at you.

"So we have liked each other for all this time, and nobody said anything?" You ask laughing.

"I guess so" he says taking a bite of his burger.

After you both finish you decide to stay and watch the sunset.

You had to avoid surfing because you would get caught.

So you decide to make the first move after sitting against the rocks next to each other for awhile.

You move closer to him so you can rest your head against his shoulder.

You guys talk about random shit about the pouges and make fun of the kooks and laughing once again.

Then, he kissed you.

He turned his face towards yours, you nodded, and he gently placed his lips on yours and pulled away after just a couple seconds.

You didn't do anything back, so after a couple seconds you pulled yourself closer to him and pressed his lips against yours, he slowly followed through and after awhile you both pulled away out of breath.

"Wow your a good kisser" he says smiling.

You run your hands through his hair and smile.

"So are we like dating?" You ask.

"Are you asking me out?" He says in a funny voice.

You shake your head as he laughs.

"Maybe" you add.

"Then yes, I'd love to be your boyfriend" he says blushing.

You smile and peck his lips.

Then he pulls you in for a hug so strong that you both tilt onto the sand causing you both to laugh.
